Bournemouth got 25m from us for a centre half that we had for 6 months who'd barely played a minute for them. I dread to think what wilson or king would be, I'd take either.

Fed on scraps today, actually thought he did ok, winning his fair share of the balls forward and linking up play when given the chance. Should have done better from al gazis cut back. Better than many others today though.

Aren't we the 4th or 5th highest scorers though? Given we dont have this serious firepower right now, something seems to be working.

If he could become a bit more clinical in front of goal, I could see him getting 10 plus goals a season. He certainly gets the chances.

Meh, a bit casual at times, struggled to make an impact, subbed in the second half. Probably not the best game he'll ever play.

None of those feels particularly inspirational but probably sums up what 20m gets you. I think it needs to be a player who can play across the front 3. Someone who improves on trez and algazi but also is an option when wes is not firing.

A tough game for a striker as show by davies, wolves played so deep they were swamped when receiving the ball in advanced positions. He didnt do a great deal but linked the play well when given the chance and I though he pressed the wolves back 4 pretty well also.

Never seen us so in control of a game to still found ourselves under pressure at times. Very difficult for the players due to how deep wolves dropped, our back 4 often starting 10 yards inside the wolves half. Impressed with the midfield, moved the ball very well. Also happy with the full backs who started to come into the game late on.

My thoughts as well, I dont see any reason to change. Over the course of a season we need to use our squad, those playing have been more than adequate replacements and lots of them need a run out.

Rather than decline, season ticket holders can resell their seats via the online booking system.

I didnt want to get promoted under bruce, I couldn't bear to watch us desperately stay up with 10 men behind the ball. My son is now 9, I couldn't take him for a few years as it was just too boring, he even started supporting spurs. I've won him back now thanks to dean smith.

I agree, expect to see luiz in there at some point but right now Conor has the shirt, tbf he had a goal yesterday wrongly disallowed.

I've been hugely impressed. Getting him high up the pitch is certainly providing goals across the team. We need to accept that this will leave us exposed defensively at times

Tbh, if wed played against an 11 men Brighton team yesterday, I'm fairly sure we would have lost. They were hammering us, the red card a huge turning point.

I dont care if we go down as long as we try to score goals and play football. Football is about being entertained, I've lost too many hours at villa park watching us desperately defend our goal just to desperately stay in a division. What's the point.

Agreed, someone who can play in a front 3 as well as replacing wes when needed. We may well need two new strikers, davies is very much an unused back up and kodija likely to be off.

I've often wondered why they dont play on the same day as the men, maybe a couple of hours before. I'm always looking for an excuse to get to the ground earlier. Sure logistics need to be considered but would likely increase support.

How can you drop conor? Scores, assists and won us a pen. Luiz scores a great goal but when he gets a chance, he needs to do more in the game.

Very good point, weve struggled to settle in so many new players. Having stability with Conor will help us I think. That midfield has looked a lot more dominant in the last 2.
