As I hear more about this guy, I am beginning to think we may have dodged a bullet here. The talk of massive salaries being offered is scary and does not sound like a good business model. He does not sound like the sort of guy who would fit in with how our owners want the club to be. I find it all a little bit strange, although I realise you cannot take everything you read as gospel.

No it doesn't. We acted in good faith. It says more about Alemany than about us. His reputation is tarnished in my opinion.

No second sub keeper. Guess we did not previously have enough to fill the bench with outfielders.

That should not really be a challenge, Tro, the incumbents in the positions where we need upgrades are really not that good.

I think we will spend big this summer, and also move a lot out. This would make sense if they are trying to bring in Alemany. As to FFP, having been involved in it, Purslow will know ways to circumvent it. Could be a very interesting summer.

I would keep Digne; he has shown himself to be a very able back up for Morena. Buendia I would definitely keep; I think he is pretty damn good already and he would blossom with better players around him.

Something we will never know, but if we had kept him this season I just wonder how many goals he would have scored, considering how many chances we have created which have been wasted, since Emery came in.

Great to get the well-deserved 3 points, but the team look to be running on empty. We need to, and will, bolster the squad. No matter where we finish, there are good times ahead.

Seems to be a very talented guy. It will be interesting to see what Emery makes of him. He appears to be a Traore type but with more impact. He has been going along under the radar for a few seasons now.

A very lucky point. I get very jittery when Olsen is in goal, and I imagine the back 4 do too.
