4 good CB'S. For the first time in a long time. Why would we want to sell him? Times have changed; we have wealthy, ambitious owners; we don't need to move a player on to buy another. The owners will be more interested in having a SQUAD to take us to where they want us to be than counting the pennies ala Doug Ellis.

I realise that keepers have to mature, but, knowing little about it, I am surprised that our young keepers are worse than Olsen, and are not capable of being backup.

Our defence goes to shit when he is behind them, and the entire structure of the team is effected. The drop off from Martinez is too great.

Agreed. A backup keeper has to be able to hit the ground running. That is the very nature of his job.

I think he is most like Defoe. A natural.

Crazy way to look at things. You could say the same for any player that season scoring a goal, never mind keeper saves, defensive tackles, etc. I think you will find it was any player participating that season that kept us up.
