Seems to be a very talented guy. It will be interesting to see what Emery makes of him. He appears to be a Traore type but with more impact. He has been going along under the radar for a few seasons now.

A very lucky point. I get very jittery when Olsen is in goal, and I imagine the back 4 do too.

He was the player that I really, really wanted. Gerrard's tenure was so frustrating. We all knew the mistakes he was making, but could do nothing about it.

Is that it? You are basing it on where they were when they were 18/19. Ignoring Archer's 2 very good recent loans? Ignoring the fact that Archer is still only 21 and probably will still improve? Assuming that Duran will become a top striker, which I hope he does, but he really has not shown much yet? Archer is clearly the better striker at this time, and Duran has a way to go in 2 years to be as good.

Brentford are an admirable team doing things the right way and deserving every success they have had. This will be a difficult game for us.

4 players who have all looked decent at times. We clearly have high standards. The step up is very difficult, and particularly as the manager and owners are intending to bring in experienced high standard players, All 4 will probably make a very decent living from the game. Good luck, lads.

Wonderful performance today. The keeper is one of the most important positions on the team. We have one of the best.

I think you always have to remember that Emery has very high standards, and also be aware that, coupled with that, very few youngsters actually make it to playing in the PL. It is going to be very difficult for our youngsters to convince him that they are good enough. Also, we want him to bring in his own, and better, players, so I suppose we cannot have it both ways. Emery knows football; he will promote any youngsters he sees with potential.

He really is very good, and has had a big influence on the way we play. A few more Emery signings of this quality will make a massive difference.

Seems like he has been struggling to adopt the manager's instructions, but has now adapted to it. And when he drives forward it is a thing of beauty.

I notice he did not celebrate his goals against Preston, even though he was only on loan with them. The guy has class.

It would be a serious mistake to sell him. They have already made one mistake with him by sending him out on loan this season. He would have been a much better option than Duran. He would have filled his boots this season with us. In another season he will be worth double your £20m.

Guy is a feckin' goal machine. You cannot teach that. He has been immense in his recent loans. I want to see him playing for us next season, not out on loan again. We will never know where we might have been if he had stayed with us this season. Thank god we have him on a 5 year contract. I am convinced he could become a superstar for us.
