    Emery made too many changes. Should have started with a solid defence, and that would have made a big difference. He is supposed to be the European Competition expert. Didn't look like it tonight.

    Emery made a bad decision last season to keep Archer and not give him the time he gave Duran. He may have made another bad decision this season to move Archer on and leave us with just Duran as our back up striker, and he is clearly not up to the task. If we are to sign a striker, we are leaving it very late.

    We have Digne. Just keep the LB situation as is. We really need a RB, but our greater need is a striker. Duran is nowhere near good enough at the moment.

    Did what you would expect us to do against a very poor team, The gulf in ability is massive, We never really got out of first gear. MOM Digne. We would be mad to let him go; he gives us something different to Morena. Watkins was excellent. We will need better backups/competition for him than Duran, who should really be out on loan.

    Or have 3 LB's on big salaries, Digne a year older and no guarantee that he can be sold next year. It has got to be obligation to buy.

    If it really is 6m for both, it would appear that Monchi may not be the great wheeler dealer we had hoped for.

    He should only be moved on if we are buying someone better, or if it is financially better. Otherwise keep him. He is a very good player.

    If we are moving on the best of our youngsters, then clearly it is our intention not to hang around, but to buy immediate success. And I am all right with that. We need success, and quickly, to keep Emery and our best players. And I want success now; I have had too many years in the doldrums.
