Seems Smith just did not prepare the team for Watford. The side was clearly not ready for their counter. First game of the season, newly promoted side, away match - we should have been much more resolute at the back at the start of the match. Have expressed this before, my big worry this season is that Smith will choose our best 11 players and not our best formation. Furthermore, I really hope he does not continue to play favorites with the likes of McGinn and Cash who at times need rotating.

I am not a constant El Ghazi critic like some others here, but you can clearly see the gulf in quality between him and the likes of Bailey and Traore. He should not be starting matches.

Putting the shoe on the other foot, I would not want my local team to be a satellite club for a Premier League side. For those outside of the UK, would you support a club in your locality that is part of CFG, RedBull, etc.?

The advantage of keeping a player with the U23s is that they can focus on development and at their own pace. On loan, it's all about results.

I would allow for ambitious investors to put money in an escrow account to cover future players salary that exceed the FFP caps. Therefore if the investor bails or loses half their fortune, future liabilities are covered.

I know it might seem very petty, but the star representing the European Cup really annoys me. I feel it is small time and it devalues our other great achievements - League titles, FA Cups, League Cups, Youth Cups. Notice that most other clubs do not put stars on their logo for their titles. The ones that do like Forest and Ipswich do so as a reminder of their past glories. Furthermore, it also does not make sense for the women's team to use that logo as the EC was an achievement of the men's side.

Accor has strong links to Qatar. They received major investment from the Qatar sovereign wealth fund. BeIN is also Qatari. It's an open secret that the Qatari sponsors pay disproportionately more than all their other sponsors. What I'm trying to establish is that PSG and ManCity operate differently than other clubs. If we're looking for commercial role models the likes of Bayern and Dortmund or even Arsenal and Spurs are much better.

Me too, but I think the squad realizes to keep everyone and sign the next level of players we need to be in Europe. Likes of Martinez and Konsa may leave without Europe.

Most of PSG's sponsors are Qatari and are basically ordered to sponsor the club at inflated sums. Similar to Man City and Abu Dhabi.

Going by Smith's "18 months away" comment and Mings' and Martinez's interviews, the players and coaches expect Europe. That's all that matters.

Wonder why Everton is only going for 52K capacity for their new stadium. 60K seems to be the "sweet spot" these days. Was it to do with planning permission?
