  1. Like a Dragon Gaiden It's a nice little spinoff to plug the gap between 7 & 8. It's relatively short, and as such the story is a lot more "to the point". If you like the Yakuza games but don't fancy jumping into a full one (the main titles are quite lengthy), I recommend this.
  2. Only just seen this! I got distracted with Like A Dragon: Gaiden, so have parked DS3 for a bit. Planning to jump back in...though that would depend on what games Santa brings...
  3. Where do B&M get their store playlists from? Especially the Xmas ones. I've never heard any of these songs in my life
  4. So, do we hope that Arse beat Plop tomorrow so we stay in 2nd place for Xmas? Or do we hope for a draw so that we remain 1pt off top?
  5. I'm sure that there will be those on social media who will say that we've benefitted from some decisions lately and that evens it out (though I do think that those that we've benefited from were the right decisions, Villa bias or not). However, that was some **** awful officiating tonight. The non-penalty for the foul on Watkins was utterly baffling. The handball one was utter bollocks. The disallowed goal was horseshit. There was an air of inevitability about this result though. You just knew that the home run was going to come to an end sooner or later - it's just a shame that it had to come in a game like this when we had a great chance to jump to the top of the table, even if potentially only for a night. Make no mistake, Sheffield United were poor and offered next to nothing, but we were ponderous at times. Fully in control, but not really threatening enough in the final third considering who we had out there. All things considered though, if you'd have told me we'd be sitting 2nd or 3rd in the table at Xmas, I'd have asked for a hefty dose of whatever you were smoking. I just hope that we can put this game behind us quickly and come out all guns blazing at OT.
  6. Who'd have guessed that our 15 game winning home run might be stopped by Sheffield United...
  7. I'm assuming they'll say that the keeper could've caught it if Ramsey wasn't fouling him. Need to **** do them now.
  8. Norwood wearing a long sleeve shirt. Don't see too many of those nowadays. Book him.
  9. I can see the logic behind it. We're having an amazing season so far, and if the next few years do bring Champions League football and the real possibility of trophy contention, it'd be a shame to have a reduced capacity - with would have a detrimental effect on the atmosphere and also a loss in matchday revenue. It's still frustrating, as the North Stand redevelopment has been a can that's been seemingly kicked down the road for years now, and it's in dire need of improvement.
  10. I think one of the main points to make is that grown men needs to stop being such helmets and shouting personal abuse at players over a game of **** football. I get that emotions can run high in certain games, but there's absolutely no need to take it to those sort of levels. There's a big difference between bantering a team/player and just being a clearing in the woods. There's so many people on social media defending what the Brentford fan in question did because "it's football" and it "happens all the time". How about these people that shout such OTT and personal abuse grow the **** up and stop acting like teenagers. You can't normalise being a scumbag just because "that's how the game is". Learn some self control FFS.
  11. I take some responsibility for this....
  12. Are all of the people on their forum completely thick? A load of them are questioning how the fan moved from one stand to the other, when Ollie has already said that he heard the abuse when he came back for corners. I honestly can't believe their reaction. It's as though they think that they're all a bunch of saints as they're everyone's "second team", because what? They have a decent scouting network? Every team has a few scumbags supporting them, and Brentford are no different. Turns out that a lot of them are completely deluded as well...
  13. Why do fanbases get so ridiculously rattled when we beat them lately? Weirdly, the only ones that didn't were City fans. Had a look at the reaction of some Brentford fans online and on social media, and the vitriol that they're throwing at Ollie is a bit baffling. Some even suggesting that he's trying to tarnish the reputation of their club (I didn't realise they were such saints?). We don't yet know what the fan in question was shouting at him. He probably gets some level of abuse every game, as pretty much all players do from some opposition fans, but this guy must have been saying some really nasty shit for him to react like that.
  14. Justice is served. Very professional performance from Leon. Some might say boring, but when you're the champ, you have something to defend. It's on the challenger to take the risks, and Colby was bringing nothing. Similar to how Adesanya fought when he was in the middle of his title reign. You do what you need to do. I would've liked to have seen him do a bit more damage though, just to see Colby suffer a bit.
  15. Colby is a scumbag. Trash talk is trash talk, but there's lines that you really shouldn't cross. He crossed some of those lines with Masvidal too. Plus, who goes after Wonderboy FFS???
  16. People commenting on the Toby Carvery adverts on Facebook. Usually with appalling grammar. "Went to our local toby carvery today the food is so lovely their it was delicious" Get in the **** bin.
  17. So slow as well. We had a good chance for a quick counter attack and we basically stopped and let them get everyone back into position. You can tell that we're already qualified.
  18. Carbon copy of the game at Villa Park. Very little press from Mostar, happy to stick everyone behind the ball and frustrate us.
  19. Man, I REALLY hope Leon gets it done on Saturday night. A UFC card at Villa Park would be amazing.
  20. Our record across the whole of 2023 has us sat in 2nd, behind only Man City, who we absolutely dominated on Wednesday night. This isn't just Villa having a purple patch of form, this has been a sustained level of performance over the course of nearly a full calendar year. We most likely won't win the title, but we're absolutely in a title race until we're not.
