  1. Tbh, I think the only position that we REALLY need to strengthen in January is RB. I don't really like Konsa moving over that side; he needs to stay in the middle. If Cash is out, we just don't look comfortable down the right. Even with Cash available, we could still possibly upgrade the position, as much as I like him.
  2. I don't like to moan too much because we're flying at the minute, but I'm sure Emery feels the same in that our inability to keep clean sheets is a real issue. Not so bad if we're on it and flowing in attack, but in games like this away from home you just can't be giving teams like this a head start and something to hold onto.
  3. Conceding early goals away from home again. So frustrating when we just gift it to them. We seem destined to never keep clean sheets.
  4. I've just listened to the phone in on TalkSport (via YouTube, so not sure if it was the whole thing). Listening to the first Legia supporter that phoned in - I just don't understand the logic at all. He says that Villa only allocated 800 tickets to away fans, so 3,000 turned up hoping that they would be let in purely because there's a lot of them. Are you being serious? Do you really think that Villa, considering the trouble that Legia fans have caused over here previously, plus the trouble in the Alkmaar game recently, are going to just ignore that and put the safety of fans at risk inside the stadium and just let a load of fans in purely because there's a large number? I feel for the genuine fans that wanted to come over and watch a game of football and have a nice trip, I really do, but they obviously have big problems and their club are burying their heads in the sand and trying to shift the blame rather than tackling the issue. I'm sure that things probably could have been done better in some cases, but for grown men to act like that over a game of football? Grow the **** up.
  5. The good thing is that, even if we come up short against Bournemouth, there's a good chance we'll still be 4th as City are pretty likely to beat that Spurs side at home. Ideal situation would be a draw in the Utd v Newcastle game, then a win at Bournemouth would give us a nice 5 point cushion between us and 5th going into the Arsenal & City games.
  6. I was on the BBC sport page today and thought I'd head over to the Bloser's page on there to have a look at the comments on the Blackburn game. Apart from feeling the need to take a long bath immediately afterwards, I noticed that 4 of the articles on their front page are regarding racist/sexist abuse of players or officials. They must surely realise just what a horrible club they look to the vast majority of football fans? Saying that, I'm sure they use that to fuel their "everybody hates us and we don't care", Millwall-lite mentality.
  7. The complete disregard of bauble etiquette that I see on people's Xmas trees. Big baubles go on the bottom, medium sized in the middle, small ones at the top.
  8. I don't understand why we keep playing such ridiculous passes to players that are already under pressure. I get that we're trying to build from the back but it doesn't work against teams that are so aggressive in the high press.
  9. Having potentially be the most untrustworthy government that this country has ever had in power during the pandemic obviously didn't help matters. Even more so when they were telling everyone to be scared while they were partying away, obviously not worried about it. It's not hard to see why so many people were so sceptical.
  10. Got them on o2 priority mate (one of the only things that keeps me with o2, to be honest!)
  11. £70.60 for the cheapest tickets to see Tool in May I mean, I still bought them because it's Tool, but bloody hell. I'm sure I only paid about £50 odd to see them last year and we had seats near the front. £70 this time to sit right at back!
  12. Nuts to think that we'd be joint top of the league for the international break if we'd have beaten Forest.
  13. Absolutely buzzing for Aspinall. Phenomenal finish against an absolute beast in Pavlovich. I'm not sure what they're going to do with him now though. Dana has said that Jones will still fight Stipe next when he recovers from his surgery (who knows how long that will be?). How long are they going to keep Tom waiting? He's interim champ, he needs to fight the champ next. Jiri v Alex was a good fight but that stoppage was definitely a tad early.
  14. It feels like Download really struggle with headliners. They either bring out the safe options every few years (Maiden, Slipknot, Metallica, Kiss etc etc) or they'll just get it horribly wrong. Some good bands still playing (Karnivool especially), will wait and see who else gets announced though. Very underwhelming so far.
  15. Job done. Would have liked for it to be a bit more comfortable, but it was never going to be a repeat of the reverse fixture. I thought Tielemans played well, which is great to see. His last few appearances have been much better, so hopefully he's finding his feet now.
  16. Tielemans is playing well. Seen a big improvement in his last few appearances. Could be pushing for a PL start.
  17. Currently playing DS3. As mentioned in one of the other threads, I've done Demon's Souls, DS1, Bloodborne, Sekiro & Elden Ring but I never got round to doing DS2 or 3 for some reason. So far, I think it's great. I like how you can obviously see what they've carried over from Bloodborne with the faster combat and the tendency to encourage you to be a bit more aggressive. I always go for a melee build so it suits me down to the ground. However, for those on here that have finished them all, is DS3 by far the easiest one in the series? I'm currently at Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, and while there have been a couple of areas that have been a pain in the arse (Farron Keep, Catacombs of Carthus, Smouldering Lake), there's not been anything thus far that has smacked me in the face with its difficulty like the other games in the series. I don't think I've died more than 2 or 3 times with any of the bosses so far (currently level 55). All that said, I could be about to get my arse royally kicked in this area, but I definitely had a much harder time with the other games.
  18. It feels like we were due a game like this. A really bad day at the office, nothing more, nothing less. Forest defended well, but we did make it easy for them as we were so ponderous at times, it felt like they had all the time in the world to get into positions to stop the final ball. Together with the fact that our crosses were terrible, Martinez should have (and normally would have) done better for the 2 goals and we just didn't seem to get the bounce of the ball, we probably didn't deserve anything out of it. Onto the next one.
