  1. Colby is a scumbag. Trash talk is trash talk, but there's lines that you really shouldn't cross. He crossed some of those lines with Masvidal too. Plus, who goes after Wonderboy FFS???
  2. People commenting on the Toby Carvery adverts on Facebook. Usually with appalling grammar. "Went to our local toby carvery today the food is so lovely their it was delicious" Get in the **** bin.
  3. So slow as well. We had a good chance for a quick counter attack and we basically stopped and let them get everyone back into position. You can tell that we're already qualified.
  4. Carbon copy of the game at Villa Park. Very little press from Mostar, happy to stick everyone behind the ball and frustrate us.
  5. Man, I REALLY hope Leon gets it done on Saturday night. A UFC card at Villa Park would be amazing.
  6. Our record across the whole of 2023 has us sat in 2nd, behind only Man City, who we absolutely dominated on Wednesday night. This isn't just Villa having a purple patch of form, this has been a sustained level of performance over the course of nearly a full calendar year. We most likely won't win the title, but we're absolutely in a title race until we're not.
  7. Very true. Though sometimes you have to endure the disapproving "huff" when the person behind you puts the divider down themselves.
  8. I always find the expectation to say "thank you" when somebody puts the little plastic divider at the end of their shopping a bit odd. Begs the question, who's responsibility is it to put the divider there? Does is signify the end of your shopping? Or the start of somebody else's?
  9. Another gold nugget from their 90s-looking forum: "And let's not forget, if Knighthead have their way, Villa will look back at days like these and wish they could return to them" I really wish I could enjoy beating City and Arsenal in in the space of 4 days, leaving Villa sitting comfortably 3rd while the Blosers sit 4pts above the relegation zone, but I'm so **** RATTLED.
  10. Arsenal seem to have had a team full of fannies for years.
  11. Can definitely see the tiredness creeping in, which is understandable. I'd get Diaby on for Bailey for starters as he looks uncomfortable.
  12. Some of the tight passing that was so brilliant to watch against City just isn't there today. Arse winning the midfield battle at the minute.
  13. Giving the ball away far too easily at the minute. Need to get a sustained period of possession to try and settle it a bit
  14. We need to get a foot on the ball for a bit. Letting Arse dictate it a bit too much at the minute.
  15. Didn't take long to strike gold: "Looking forward to Wayne knocking their stuffing out in a future derby. They will hate it when the team that bears the city's name is up there again."
  16. Come on, Villa. Please, please score while we're on top. You just know that Pep is going to make the right adjustments at HT. We're battering them at the minute
  17. Proper presentation that. Didn't need any help from them lot down the road making that. Proud of our past and our 2 league cups in 150 years mate. Proper cups. None of that fancy pants Europe stuff. Loved big Wayne's PressurePoint presentation too, or whatever it's called. He said he needed to get his kids to help him with it though. Saw some weird popups about "over 75s in the Small Heath area" when he plugged his laptop in. Tactical stuff went right over our heads, but the Legia Warsaw fans seemed to enjoy it. Mate.
  18. Bit of a funny one, this. Glad to have salvaged a point, especially considering how much Bournemouth were dominating the game and how they seem to be improving lately. The frustrating thing is that, yet again, we give away a stupid early goal that's completely avoidable and give the opposition something to at least hold onto, if not build upon. It's slightly concerning how we seem completely incapable of keeping a clean sheet. It's fine when were banging in 3 or 4 at home, but in tight games away where you need to dig in a bit and grind it out, you can't be needing to score at least 2 every time to get the 3 points. It's a bit frustrating, as we got a *kind of* unexpected result at Spurs, so it would've been the icing on the cake to get a result here, especially with the 2 games we have coming up. It's likely that Spurs, Newcastle or United (possibly all 3) could overtake us. All that said, it's hard to complain about the bigger picture. We're still in 4th, which is completely nuts. If we get anything at all out of City and Arsenal I'll be buzzing. I think it's a matter of getting through the Xmas period relatively unscathed and then kicking on afterwards.
  19. Ref absolutely does not want to see Bournemouth down to 10 today
