We seem to have bought that scary bullying LB Cissokho, the one that played for Porto and stood out in the Champions League a few years ago, for <£2m just as he's coming into his prime. How the hell has that happened?

Our good start last season was down to having forwards in good form and just outscoring teams. This season we've shut teams out which is a far more sustainable method. For all our wins against the top 4 (or our title rivals if you prefer) last season we only kept one clean sheet against them in the 8 games. We've already got one this season.

We lost the corresponding fixture last season and they've since spent £50m on their front line. This is another free hit.

Who said anything about an injury crisis? You were trying to say wait until we've got a "few injuries". Our best defender is out injured. Our best attacker is out injured. As far as "a few injuries" go those are two major **** ones to deal with and we just won away against last year's 2nd place.

Today. I clearly meant before today lol He scored against Sunderland in the 6-1 maulings and two magnificent crucial goals the next week against Norwich Actually the last time was in January this year when he scored the winner against Sunderland after scoring against Swansea.

What is the harm in giving him an extension? If new owners come in with cash to burn they can afford to pay him off and if we continue to criminally underspend he's better than any manager that would take the job.

I'm talking 2-3 defenders and a midfielder or two out at the same time. Not one player out of the starting elevens and 2 long timers Oh long timers are somehow different. Ok. Benteke doesn't count as being out of the starting eleven because he's been injured for a long time.

A Liverpool fan I play football with put a message in the team's WhatsApp group about how it was a disgrace that Senderos wasn't sent off and they would have crushed us if the ref wasn't a cheat. So sweet.

It also lists the average conversion rates for the past 4 seasons at around 5%. So even if he had scored 3 from 20 (which sounds very inaccurate) he'd still have triple the normal conversion rate.

At least Pele would have gotten his prediction right then. Not only born, the place you've lived your entire life. Maybe Jack feels Irish, if he does I'll be pleased to see him play for Ireland. IMO though it's more likely he feels English, what with having been born and raised here and sounding as Brummie as he does. IMO it's not a debate about who he should play for, just about whether or not he should be vilified by Irish fans for some perceived slight on them (motivated by money / glory) if he chooses to represent the country he's from.
