We could finish 16th, or 17th or god forbid lower than that. As far as I can tell we've budgeted like we're aiming to finish 17th so anything above that and he's outperforming the targets Randy's set for him IMHO. We spent **** <£5m in the Summer. Our revenue should have been >£100m for last season. What the ****.

Vermaelen at Barca? On topic, he's not 5th choice. At least, he won't be soon. He might take a while to regain his form but if he gets anywhere near it he'll be comfortably ahead of Clark.

I can't really articulate any solid reasons why I think he should stay but I'd give him through November at least. This season so far we've got 10 points from 9 games (which I'm aware isn't great) but it has to be viewed under the narrative that we don't have a pot to piss in. I know we had 10 points from 4 games and if we have 10 points from 13 games then I'll give up too. Maybe I'm just so numb from the last 4 seasons that I can't even comprehend the level of shit management required to be sacked midseason.

I agree that he was better than Cleverley but it wasn't one of his better games. He doesn't create enough though. We'd have to score a goal (or even be able to score a goal) to have someone cost us 3 points. He maybe cost us a chance at a point.

Actually I think you'll find that the conventional definition of a 'sense of humour' would mean that it is only a personality trait and, as such, it is impossible to have had bypassed (as it is something that has no physical manifestation which to bypass). -- Some People

Boo. I'm sure everyone else would agree that I'm deserving of a spot in the little yellow section regardless of how many times I fail to even give a prediction. If you insist on this draconian set of rules where I'm somehow equal to everyone else then I'll have to start predicting again. -
Bolton will stay up, so will Fulham. Its teams like Rotherham and Millwall that I think they'll be fighting and they all seem to be doing relatively well.
