  1. I only watched the highlights, on mute, so I presumed the controversy in the Meatball/Maguire incident was about red card or not. That he didn’t even give a foul is absolutely shocking.
  2. Sure, agree on all bar maybe Højbjerg, but to be clear, I was talking about Arsenal.
  3. That should be crazy talk, but honestly after watching their first half today, it’s very hard to disagree.
  4. I’d say our first XI is better too. Wouldn’t swap too many of ours for one of theirs.
  5. They’re not, and you have to give them credit for a very good first half. They are, however, far too inconsistent and soft to be anywhere close to where their comically entitled fanbase seems to think they belong. Which is why it’s fun to make fun of them. And why one shouldn’t be too generous with the superlatives on the back of a game against a very poor Spurs team. We can only hope Spurs are as generous a week from now as they have been today.
  6. I could have swore it was listed as late kick off until fairly recently, though.
  7. He’s a spineless coward who will always deflect blame. He probably also thinks he’s playing the Sir Alex media game, but he really doesn’t have the manegerial pedigree to pull that off (KW.gif)
  8. Probably. Let’s not tell anyone about this ever again.
  9. I missed it too. Thought it was a late kick off as well and made other plans for the morning that I couldn’t just cancel when I realised my mistake.
  10. This is the second league game in a row I’ve been prevented from watching. I have no idea when the last time that happened was. It’s a long time ago anyway. If I were just slightly superstitious, I’d be making other plans for next Sunday about now Very proud of the boys and very pleased with how far we’ve come as a club.
  11. No way. Ole is just being the same spineless word removed as always.
  12. I’m not watching the next one anyway and if this becomes reality, I have probably watched my last ever World Cup. And I f***ing love World Cups
  13. Bryson DeChambeau just hit a 417 yard drive. 4 1 7 yards. Left with a 70 yard half swing wedge to set up a yard long put for eagle on the par 5 fifth. Filthy.
  14. Going out partying like it’s 1999, at least!

    Phobias

I’m afraid of very few things in life, but I have to fears and they are both a real handicap: Heights and snakes. I can’t climb a ladder, and I detest snakes. Playing kids’ boardgames is a real problem for me But seriously, I really can’t climb ladders and I’ll not run in the woods in the summer months, for fear of surprising a an unexpecting snake basking in the sun. I know the few snakes we have in Norway are relatively harmless, but they still scare the crap out of me.
  16. All restrictions to be lifted in Norway. Back to normal by 4 o’clock tomorrow. I fully support the decision.
  17. It’s like in baseball. If you’re up by five runs you’re not supposed to try hard or show emotions anymore, because reasons.
  18. It has never even occured to me that it could be perceived as disrespectful. It’s a bloody difficult move to do in-game and any player who can pull it off (KW.gif) should receive nothing but applause. How can a referee book a player for something that is perfectly legal?
  19. We gave it a better go than anyone could reasonably expect. These kids are special, and the quality in depth in our squad is encouraging. Going out on pens is always a blow, but you have to be proud of that performance tonight.
  20. Running and tackling. Something Barkley has been working on over the summer, presumably?
  21. We bring on a bunch of kids, they bring on a £90m striker. If we beat them, it’s a very proud moment for the club.
