Think that pretty much means Kane is off as if he keeps on dropping deep he'll just get in the way of Maddison. At Leicester he'd pick up the ball and just slot it through to Vardy or Iheanacho on the shoulder of last defender so that's the template he needs at Spurs. Spurs don't pay that much in wages compared to the other top 6-7 beyond their elite players. Buendia needs to sack his agent if he's only on 40-50k after moving for 30m.
