You mean something like this?

'You are clearly not at a high enough level of artistic enlightenment to understand this advert, nor will you ever be as pretty as the people in it, but buy our sh*t anyway and you might get there one day.'

Or people who work for you organising things that they've no right to do, without telling you, thus ensuring that by the time you've spent hours investigating one thing, it's already been dealt with.

People at work who are not in an authoritative position who tell you what to do at work.

Very much this. Used to work with one, and it was the closest I have ever come to twatting somebody in the workplace.

Luckily he left before it became inevitable.

Tarantino's US premiere called off

_64823511_django1_304ap.jpg Django Unchained tells of a freed slave (played by Jamie Foxx, right) who becomes a bounty hunter

The US premiere of Quentin Tarantino's western Django Unchained has been called off in the wake of last week's shootings in a Connecticut school.

"In this time of national mourning we have decided to forgo our scheduled event," the film's distributor said.

Tuesday's event in Los Angeles will be replaced by a screening for cast and crew and their friends and families.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise is to attend a scaled-down screening of his new film Jack Reacher in Pittsburgh.

Wednesday's event replaces a planned premiere on Saturday that Paramount Pictures called off "out of honour and respect for the families of the victims".

There will be no red carpet at the event although Cruise will introduce the film, which opens with a sniper shooting several people dead.

A Jack Reacher screening scheduled to take place at New York's Lincoln Center on Monday was also called off.

Cast and crew members had been expected to attend the benefit screening, which has been postponed indefinitely.

Parental Guidance, a comedy starring Billy Crystal, was another film that had its Hollywood premiere cancelled on Saturday.

"The hearts of all involved with this film go out to the victims, their families, their community, and our entire nation in mourning," said the Fox studio in a statement.

Episodes of US comedy series Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show were dropped on Sunday to avoid any potential insensitivities.

Sunday's broadcast of Homeland was not pulled, but did begin with a statement saying the terrorist drama contained "images that may be disturbing".

Django Unchained tells of a freed slave, played by Jamie Foxx, who becomes a bounty hunter. The film contains a large number of bloody killings.

Tarantino has defended violence in movies.

He said at a press junket in New York for the film on Saturday that he was tired of defending his films each time the US is shocked by gun violence.

"I just think you know there's violence in the world, tragedies happen, blame the playmakers," he said, adding: "It's a western. Give me a break."

Twenty children and six women died in the assault on Sandy Hook school by a lone man who then took his own life.

The fact that I can't find an affordable DVD of Gummo anywhere. I've been telling the other half about it but can only find a horribly expensive region 1 version so it looks like I won't be watching it any time soon.

People (mainly on FB) that put "boom" at the end of a sentence.

Ultra **** ghey

This formed part of an argument that I was having with a friend of mine last week. My opinion was that my own generation (broadly anyone in their 20s) will be remembered as being part of a generation of massive tossers. I'm not just on about people using the word "boom" in such a way, but also the current crop of TV programs etc that seem to define young adults at the moment (The only way is essex etc). It's not a golden age to be twenty something, that's for sure.

As someone in their mid 20s, I completely agree with you on this one. Very much a generation of douchebag-ery.

How sad to think your own generation is crap. Most previous generations (not least mine) have thought they were the dog's bollocks - at least while they were in their 20s; they may look back and wince later, but at the time, no.

It's weird. It just seems like the generation is just too much into things like shit shows such as The Only Way is Essex and actually being exactly like the people on those shows and replicating their every move and looks, possibly what Shillzz was kind of alluding to. To me, many people in my generation have somewhat lost their ability to be different or think for themselves, and only want to be 'cool'. Which in most cases leads them to look like clearings in the woods. Like this obsession with things like snapback caps and Louboutin shoes, I just don't get it.

I mean for example, is this guy someone you want to style yourself after??

Pretty much any of the following phrases are worse than boom.

"Can't wait til (whenever) ....It's gonna be messy"

"banter"

"lol"

Oh and "bored.com"

You have access to the internet FFS . How on earth can you be bored?

'This' a million times.

The fact that men in their twenties will happily admit to watching such tripe is bad enough, but to follow the onesie wearing, hair slicking, stupid attitude adopting lifestyle so religiously is what makes this generation particularly crap.
