To add to your exceptional post, bruce was hired as a promotion specialist, someone too shithouse the way out of the championship, that would've worked out 10 years ago, football moved on, bruce didnt, buy the best players in the league and hope one of them scores I know hogan is a joke figure ag aston villa, buy buying what was a prolific striker at the time, who scored by running onto through balls, to then come to villa and spend the game waiting for the ball drop out the sky. Newcastle look really poor though. They got off to a decent start to the season as well, but with key players coming back they should be able to avoid relegation. He was back by December. Before that he was very inconsistent and in and out of the team, it was only after he came back from that kidney injury that season that he really became the Jack that we know. We'd usually have 5 or 6 by this point. Could you imagine SJP with this run that they're currently on? Again, **** weird. What I meant was he never responds to the constructive criticism. He singles out the abuse and blows it up as if most of the negativity isn't in fact about his management and not his weight or nose or whatever. All managers get abuse, even Dean Smith bafflingly got some last year. Comes with the job it seems. He's one of the very few that hits back. Done it at a few clubs now.
