Dont get the Dan Burn signing at all - not much better than what they have. They've spent £60m or so (plus wages and fees etc) on Trippier, Wood and Burn, who have an average age of 30 and 2 of the 3 arent that useful.

Quite the comedown from signing Mbappe and Neymar

Desperation. They have are hoping for a quick fix, it won't work.

The good news is… Dan Burn isn’t even that good, shocking at passing, only thing going for him is his height.

After Botman, Carlos, Alessandro Nesta, Phillipe Albert, the ghost of Bobby Moore

Dan Burn was always the Number 1 target

Trying for Dean Henderson too, they’ll be fine. Only 2 wins all season and just 1 point from safety with plenty of games left and reinforcements in. You have to be truly shocking to get relegated this season

They all have to settle and gel though

Probably a position they dont need to fill. Dubravka is probably a better keeper than Henderson

Agreed the standard of the bottom 5 (including Leeds in that) is truly pathetic. Any side that can get to the end of January and have 2 wins all season  should be dead and buried.

it still could go either way for them though a couple of quick wins in the next few they will be ok lose them and head into the horrid run of fixtures they have in a few weeks and it could unravel fairly quickly. Plus Burnley have 3 games in hand over them  and they play Watford at home next

Well we don't really know what the table actually looks like once teams start playing their games in hand.

No one wants to do business with them but they all have a price. Extortion. Good.

Utter madness - I don’t blame the selling club but the fee is eye-watering.

For a player that is still largely unproven in Europe. He has played a couple of Champions League games and international caps so he still hasnt really been tested
