No one at that club has a clue about football now were heading for an arguably tougher league and they will continue to make horrible mistakes and get us deeper and deeper until the name Aston villa means nothing to anyone. Lerners original plan was to build casino at villa park that's why he bought us read about it it's all there. He cares about money cold hard cash that's all. If Lerner has any love left for us any at all Paul lambert will be sacked he hasn't done anything in his managerial career worth mentioning and don't wanna hear he brought Norwich up 2 divisions in 2 years and kept them in the league no one cares about that he has blew it at the highest level relegating an ever present premier league team. I asked a German guy the other day if he heard of Aston villa before and he said of course and I asked him if he heard of norwich city before and he said no that's because we're a common name in Europe but Norwich isn't either is Cardiff city fc or Wigan or queens park rangers or Swansea or Leicester city but reality is net season these will all be above us having a great laugh at our expense as we slide down the championship table it makes me sick Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Forget any notion that he will, its not his way. What he does need to do, is start the game like we did the second half against Newcastle and get them on the back foot. Its our only chance of getting something. Sit back, and we will be annialated. And we have to do this for the remainder of the season. If we are to go down, lets do it fighting. Not to mention the fact that largely thanks to his achievements there Norwich City will be announcing enviable finances this time around. It was more of a 4-2-3-1 in the 2nd half. Weimann came on and played wide right, not straight up top with Benteke. For the Everton game I'd go... Guzan Lowton Vlaar Clark Baker Westwood Sylla Weimann N'Zogbia Agbonlahor Benteke 4-2-3-1 could work for us, as long as two from Gabby/N'Zogbia/Weimann gave protection to the full backs when we don't have the ball. I'd put Delph in with Westwood but he is injured isn't he? So it could be sink or swim time for Sylla straight away. Baker at left back isn't ideal but we looked a bit more solid defensively in the 2nd half against Newcastle when the back four was as above. And our lack of width this season has been ridiculous. It needs to change. Lowton looked a different player 2nd half against Newcastle when he had that option of a wide player to pass to. We have all the players to fit 4-4-2 and some. Vlar should be coming back to full fitness, stick him next to Clark (i would prefer Baker but we haven't got a prayer with Bennet at the moment) and Baker at left back. Lambert knows we played better with the 4-4-2 formation, if he chooses to abandon it then my doubts will start to grow. A Morpheus post has made sense to me..........
