wedge Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Been looking forward to this for a while, and I'm not even going! Come on you Villa boys!
BleedClaretAndBlue Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Someone has to put an end to this run Norwich are on!
coda Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 I'm not sure if this is a welcome or unwelcome distraction. I've seen too many teams go on holiday after winning this trophy. I'd rather we beat Liverpool but I'm sure I'll be gutted should we not progress on Tuesday.
KjParton Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 One thing we really need to do against them is: TEST THE FRIGGEN KEEPER! They've got a 2nd string keeper in goal with Ruddy out injured - he just let in 3 goals this afternoon against Swansea. He needs to be tested, because he's the way we might get a result in this.
CI Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Norwich are figuratively speaking on fire. I think we'll have one eye on Anfield which is the more important game for us just now.
R.I.C.O. Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 This is really going to be tough. Naaaaarwich are really flying at the moment, but I'm sure our young lions have what it takes to burst their bubble. No doubt Lambert will get dogs abuse but I think he thrives off that.
regular_john Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I'd love us to win this. League football is such a write-off these days, and we'll almost certainly spend the whole season hovering just above the relegation zone, at least cup football offers us something to get excited about!
chappy Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Can't wait for this! Enjoyed Carrow Road last season (even though we were absolutely dire) and hopefully we can make just as good an atmosphere this time but win the game too.
CI Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Work has stopped me from getting to this so will have to find a pub in central London showing it Is it on Sky ?
KjParton Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 no not on telly they chose 2 other shit games to put on tv
LondonLax Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I think this will be the end of our cup run unfortunately. Norwich are in great form and are at home.

LockStockVilla Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Bennett has been telling everyone on twitter he expects to be back for Saturday though.
TrentVilla Posted December 9, 2012 Moderator Posted December 9, 2012 I don't see us getting through this one unfortunately but I live in hope. They are on a great run and will really be up for this one and for putting one over on us and Lambert, fans and players. I can see us getting beat by at least a couple.
markavfc40 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 We've thrived in the cup games this season so far and I can see that being the case again. Its as if the pressure is off us and we relax, the shackles come off and its resulted in us being very free flowing and scoring a lot of goals in this competition. I can see this being a high scoring game and us winning something like 3-2 or 4-3.
