The commercial end of the black music scene has been making nice noises about bad period Phil Collins for a while now.

Have to say, I like the honesty of the covers of his remastered catalogue.

I have no idea when it comes to movie soundtracks. Often I'll hear a song in a movie and think, that's cool and track it down and download it. However, seeing this movie for the first time (whenever that was, I guess it was 2010) for the first time I was aware to my thinking of how good the music is and how well it works with the motion picture.

Continuing the edgy, cool vibe this thread has maintained over the years...

When “Robin Hood Prince of thieves” is mentioned, the typical comment is “Alan Rickman was the only good thing about it”.

Wrong.

This, for starters, is great (and no, it’s not courtesy of Mr Adams) -

It’s from the late Michael Kamen, who worked on The Wall, Brazil, Highlander, Mona Lisa,  the Lethal Weapon series, the Die Hard series, Let him have it, and a fair few others....
