Anthony Posted December 5, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted December 5, 2012 Dr Dre's missing a trick you know. He should market and sell Beats earmuffs for £50 a pop.
NurembergVillan Posted December 16, 2012 Moderator Share Posted December 16, 2012 Bose QuietComfort for me. Can't see a 14 year old rocking a pair of them on the bus though.
drat01
In addition to my Bose QC's I now have a pair of IT7x2's coming - courtesy of the great man himself :-)
The_Lions_Roar
Would love a pair of it7s, not high on my list at the moment though.

Really considering picking up a pair in the next month or so. Shame iPhones don't support NFC though.

limpid Posted September 9, 2013 Administrator Share Posted September 9, 2013 For what? Do you wave NFC tags around to change volume? I decided to go an d look it up. They use NFC for Bluetooth pairing. I don't see the point.
Nath182
Yeah it's just for pairing but its nice to get full functionality out of your stuff. Especially at £160 or w/e they are.
The_Rev
I decided to go an d look it up. They use NFC for Bluetooth pairing. I don't see the point. It's probably a gimmick in headphones, but using NFC for bluetooth pairing is very useful in other areas. If you run emulators on a Nexus 7 and PS3 controller then putting a NFC sticker on the back of the controller is a great idea.
The_Lions_Roar
I need some decent but not expensive in ear headphones. I don't like the ones that cone with the s3.

The_Rev
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Klipsch-ProMedia-In-Ear-Headphones-Metallic/dp/B0044TZF44 £35 and fantastic. They are rebranded S4i/S4a's as far as I can tell (I did a bit of reading up on it before I bought mine) which cost twice as much because they have smartphone branding. Chindie Posted September 14, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted September 14, 2013 http://www.whathifi.com/review/sennheiser-cx-300-ii £25 no other option really. I'd have said this but for 2 things - the revision of the CX-300s made them worse imo, and they have a brilliant record of breaking. I have these, and they're great. http://www.amazon.co.uk/SoundMAGIC-E10-Earphones-Silver-Black/dp/B005HP3OB0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1379179878&sr=8-1&keywords=soundmagic+e10

Had two pairs in the past 18 months and both have broke. While they last though they're pretty good, quality sound and comfortable.
leemond2008
Just got meself a pair of sony zx300, I didn't really want to go for the over the ear ones but I am sick of having to by a new pair of in ear ones every 6/8 months at £50 a pop so thought I would give these a go to see how they last, they were only £20 so if they are rubbish or I cant get on with the over ear style I can just get a new decent pair of in ear ones
dont_do_it_doug.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/AKG-K451-Foldable-Mini-Headset/dp/B005LBQ7BY No good to the OP, but for £50 you won't do better. These are every bit as good sound quality wise as your average £200 pair.
Morpheus
http://en-uk.sennheiser.com/professional-dj-headphones-noise-cancelling-hd-280-pro Using these in my home studio to monitor mixes and no complaints at all.
