Raymond
If we stay up and kept the same side where do people see us finishing next year? Much the same - don't forget apart from Vlaar we have been very lucky with injuries this season. and look how hard that injury to Vlaar hit us. Ummm..what? Read the post and then (if you wish) post a comment ......its how forums work I did. It is how satire works.
dudevillaisnice
So what's the deal.. Norwich have to play Swansea and Man City, cannot see them picking up any more points. We have Chelsea and Wigan.. I'm not sure we will pick up any more points either (maybe against Wigan)
packoman
We'll beat Wigan. Really hoping for a Stoke win on Monday. Edited May 4, 2013 by packoman
LondonLax
We are 3 points off 9th and 5 points off the relegation spots.
smetrov
25-1 for relegation - stick a tenner on - it ll buy half a season ticket in the championship
AndyM3000
Still not sure what to make of it all. 40 points is usually good. Dont want Sunderland winning on Monday. Next weeks results are massive. If we are still ahead of Newcastle, Sunderland and Norwich after we play Chelsea we should be safe no matter what happens with us v Wigan because Newcastle have Arsenal, Sland have Spurs and Norwich have Man City. Only way it can go bad for us is if they all win and Wigan win their game in hand.

villanwesty88
Great win there for us. Still 40 points might not be enough....IF Sunderland were to beat Stoke on Monday AND Wigan were to beat Swansea on Tuesday the table would be like this with 2 games to go.... Southampton 40 Stoke 40 Fulham 40 Sunderland 40 Villa 40 Norwich 38 Newcastle 38 Reading R QPR R That would be pretty uncomfortable with 2 games to go for all involved.... Obviously hope Wigan lose and Sunderland draw with Stoke...
Raymond
Just saw the end of the Wigan match. Second match in a row they should have let one in at the death. If both go in, we are safe. TBF, we might be safe already.
Jimzk5
40 points = safety Does it Bollocks thanks to those rocket polishers in sandwell.
OutByEaster? Posted May 4, 2013 Moderator Share Posted May 4, 2013 Just done the predictor again after today's result and have Norwich going down with 39 points with us 16th and in between Wigan in 15th and Newcastle in 17th. That's with a last day defeat at Wigan.
Dodgyknees
It's a little more comfortable now, hoping Chelsea have their eyes on the Cup.. Although, they have been shit against teams near us, so you can be sure they will be up for it against us. Hoping Stoke beat Sunderland, Wigan draw their next game and then I will be comfortable. dont_do_it_doug.
Would be great if Spurs could get a winner today. Yep. 4 teams between us and 18th, not to mention 5 points and we're a gnats cock away from safety. Another team and I'll relax. Brilliant fun this. AVFCforever1991
I'd say we are safe.. Looking forward to next season, but without all this relegation fear.. Edited May 4, 2013 by AVFCforever1991
Alpaywasawesome
Fulham's been sucked into it now. They've been on a horrible run of form and have Liverpool next, who incidentally are in form. Coutinho and Sturridge have been playing really well. Edited May 4, 2013 by Alpaywasawesome
jacketspuds
We should be safe if either Wigan draw at home to Swansea on Tuesday or Norwich fail to beat WBA at home next Saturday. Would be nice if we could get at least a point next Saturday though.

Those two are entirely possible in my opinion, Swansea I think will win vs Wigan and I can see WBA winning vs Norwich.. but this is football anything can happen. R.I.C.O.
We are not safe yet. Wigan need to lose next week and then a point against Chelsea will be enough.
