bickster Posted June 10, 2012 Moderator Posted June 10, 2012 mirror Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert ... He is also keen to snap up Leeds ace Robert Snodgrass and ... as part of his Villa Park revolution. Lambert has given Villa chief executive Paul Faulkner a list of targets to steer the club away from another relegation battle. With a transfer fund of around £20million, he knows he must find value for money
Adam_ Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 If they do sign him hopefully he will be better than what Delph has been thus far.
Ballybunion_Ice Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Went to Cov v Leeds the other season and he looked a class above the rest.
AshVilla Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Can we sign Huntelaar as well he'd love a piece of this guy
mjmooney Posted June 10, 2012 VT Supporter Posted June 10, 2012 Good player - at that level. Then again, so was Delph.
CI Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 If it means no more Albrighton on the wing I'm happy with this acquisition
VillaAlex Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Good player - at that level. Then again, so was Delph. Delph was at league one, not championship.
VillaForever1970 Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 If it means no more Albrighton on the wing I'm happy with this acquisition Even if he's worse than Albrighton?
KHV Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 If it means no more Albrighton on the wing I'm happy with this acquisition Even if he's worse than Albrighton? nobody is that bad! I wouldnt want Snodgrass though. He is the new James McFadden and often disappoints.
lexicon Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 I've been impressed with him every time I've seen him play - would like to sign him.
Villaonsea Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Whats the word im looking for? oh yes, relegation.
Morpheus Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Definitely not the type of signing I'd want us to make. Championship quality and no better than that.
FamousHolteUnion Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Whats the word im looking for? oh yes, relegation. Bloody hell have you just gone on to every active thread and posted the most negative comment you can think of for each one? Cheer the **** up or go to bed or something.
jonny-recession Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Whats the word im looking for? oh yes, relegation. The bundle of joy rears his scabby head again. Whether he does turn out to be a shrewd purchase or not doesnt mean that signing one player will relegate us but then this faction of so called supproters will never support a perspective signing. The words rock and crawl back under spring to mind but once again I'd just be as bad if I put them in the proper scentence. Try supporting as opposed to picking holes in prospective conjecture. Just my opinion if you dont like it I wont lose sleep
KjParton Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Good player - at that level. Then again, so was Delph. My Uncle is a Leeds fan and when Delph went back to Leeds on loan he said he was absolutely dire. So tbh i'd probably take Snodgrass and have him over Delph.
quizme Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Whats the word im looking for? oh yes, relegation. Troll
BG_Villa_Fan Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Whats the word im looking for? oh yes, relegation. With only 4-6 mil net to spend, like your 'itk' sources have told you, who do you expect him to go for? Messi?
barry'sboots Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Don't know much about Snodgrass but there is a lot of negativity about Delph on this thread. He is still a young lad and given the following: - a run in the team in his rightful position - a strong DCM alongside I still believe that this kid could be a great signing for us.
