I doubt it Would Allardyce accept anything under 12M? I know he wouldn't Is the deal going to happen? No. End of. Edit: I think Allardyce rates Nolan exactly like we rate Gareth Barry. Is that at 5M? Very interesting point Rocafella, Barry IMO in normal circumstances is worth no more than £5 million, in fact I would think that was a good price, but ATM we are not in normal circumstances. Prices ATM are well inflated. Now is this because of the new TV deals that are about to start, or the Chelski effect, or are one or two clubs at the bottom trying to maximise there income from a sale driving up the market (ie. Nor me and I rate his far higher than £500k too. I cannot think of anyone who is readily available AND better that we could go for, especially in a day! Teletext this morning said Upson was prepared to wait to the end of the season and buy out his contract for "less than £1m". I hope Wham now that and get him for bottom dollar.
