leemond2008
nope honestly, I have UP does that class as girlie or just childish?
Ingram85
Own plenty of childish films like finding nemo, monsters inc but cant really think of a girly film off the top of my head. Closest I can think of is Alice in Wonderland, the original 50's disney animation on blu-ray.
veloman
pretty in pink. Yep that's mine too. But my excuse is it has some great music in as the soundtrack !

mjmooney Posted February 4, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted February 4, 2012 Not much. Does a box set of "South Pacific", "Oklahoma!" and "The King and I" count? And three Astaire/Rogers movies. Other than that, it's wall-to-wall westerns, film noirs and documentaries, plus some kids' TV programmes from my youth. Just watching "Cape Fear" (the original, natch) ATM. hogso
I could be an arty word removed and name drop some Breillat; Sex is Comedy, Anatomy of Hell, Romance - basically girly arthouse porn. The first thing that came to mind was Show Me Love (**** Amal), which I found to be incredibly girly. The best answer I can give though would probably beeeee....La Vie en Rose? Atonement? In the Mood for Love? Muriel's Wedding. As an aside my favourite Chick Flick is 10 Things I Hate About You, **** brilliant
LincsVilla
Ermm, a movie that i bought for myself and not the girlfriends or the ex's i'd say the girliest movie i have is The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas, not very girly but more girly than We Were Soldiers and the like. GarethRDR
Probably a tie between Ladyhawke and The Princess Bride. But in addition to their girlishness, they're also **** awesome. So there.
lapal_fan
10 Things I Hate About You, **** brilliant Did you know that's based on Shakespeare's 'Taming of the Shrew'?
Ginko
Meet Joe Black - gets me everytime. Hm, I thought it was really good and wasn't too girlie. It is really good and it's not that girly, although it's predominately about falling in love. It was the girliest film in my collection though. I know what you mean though, it's not really a chick-flick in the strongest sense.
