DeepDish
Ugh, Sunderland looks a different team today against Newcastle. Not the boring shit they served when O'Neill was in charge. Let's hope Newcastle turns this around and we get a di Canio meltdown.

Avfc96
If he were to get the Palace job, they would do well until Febuary/March and then lose the rest of the games in April and May. Whilst spending money the club doesn't have in January. It is the O Neill way.

Mantis
Surely he won't get another manager's job in football? You'd think so, but a lot people still think he's a good manager for some reason.

Probably because he's done well everywhere other than Sunderland. Although FWIW, I think he's lost his passion for it now.

Although FWIW, I think he's lost his passion for it now. I'd dispute that. Despite the perception among non-Villa fans I don't think he did a good job at Villa at all. I wonder when if ever this myth will be dispelled among them. It gets tedious hearing people constantly say "O'Neill did a good job with you". darrenm
I've always thought he'd do well in international management. Shame his pride kept him out the England job.
PieFacE Posted November 1, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted November 1, 2013 International Football will suit him well. Can't waste loads of money and doesn't really have enough time with the squad to be that tactically demanding. He will give the team a lift and they will play for him.
