You sound like a Bluemoon poster complaining about media treatment. This was the headline story for pretty much the whole of yesterday. They had people reporting from both Sunderland and Birmingham. And you sound like a bitter Spud. All I've had are yids telling me Bent is average...They would though, he is considered a Spurs flop. Redknapp's man-management of him was terrible towards to the end of time there. My favourite excuse is that he didn't fit into the 'Spurs way' or some equal bollocks. We're ACTUALLY spending 24m on one player. Another great message to the players. Lerner is completely backing Houllier. The players now know that he isn't going anywhere, they will be fully behind him. The fans are starting turn off Ged. We all know we needed a striker, a poacher. He has gone out and spent huge to get one of the best available. Fantastic statement of intent to the whole league. Two transfers before the 20th Jan with supposedly more to come. Fantastic. I just wanted to hear what those who had actually watched him play for a while thought. Only time will tell if he works out for you. I can't see how I seem bitter though. I'm genuinely pleased you've signed him. From how I see it this is nothing but good news for Spurs.
