Well they said Canelo came in close to 170 which puts him in the SMW division.

Smith did well and kept on fightingtill the very end but everything he threw just bounced off canelo, I thought canelo looked sharp and the body puniches were always going to be damaging, it was a sickener that won it, I winced myself when it landed.

Canelo really had no option but to rely on the body shots and uppercuts because Smith kept a really tight defence throughout the whole fight.

Nice to see Max getting in a dig about de la hoya in the interview, he didn't look best pleased about that.

Smith is european level though good tough fight for anyone but he won't ever come first against the elite.

Fury is just ridiculous. Following this postponement, it's hard to see how he goes forward, who'll want to work with him or his brothers?

It was always going to be cancelled again. Can't see him fighting again. Made his money now can't be arsed.

Sure I read somewhere yesterday Joshua to fight his brother or was Bull shit as well?

Fury is an embarrassment, he was slating haye when he pulled out with injuries against him and he is doing exactly the same. What a hypocrite

Fury dont want the fight just forfeit the titles and let real warriors fight you coward.

Sounds like he's had a mental breakdown if you ask me

Tyson has, this week, been declared medically unfit to fight. Medical specialists have advised that the condition is too severe to allow him to participate in the rematch and that he will require treatment before going back into the ring.

we ask that Tyson and his family be given the privacy and the space he needs to recover during this difficult time."

just a few things that stand out in their statement

Crolla v Linares

Can't see past Linares although the crowd will be hostile, not saying Crolla doesn't have a chance as Linares can be vulnerable and was put down by Mitchell last time he was in the UK but i think he's a classy operator and isn't a multi weight champion for nothing.

As for Joshua i hope he fights someone with decent pedigree next and not another tailor made bum

It;s a good fight. Linares is really good, excellent puncher with very good technique but also vulnerable, with a dodgy chin - in particular he is vulnerable early and can get caught cold. But I do think this is a bridge too far for Crolla, Linares is the much classier fighter and I don't think Crolla has the power to do much damage.

Not surprising, not only is this something that's obvious from his various interviews and behaviour over time but has also been suggested that his issues are pretty severe from those close to him - I'm talking deep rooted depression, paranoia and a lot of alcohol abuse.

I'm certainly no medical expert but it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was revealed that he was a schizophrenic, he has all the hallmarks of one.

I'm backing Crolla towin on points possible SD, it will be a good close fight though and I think it will go the distance whoever wins

I'm looking forward to this fight, Crolla is on roll but unless he catches Linares cold I'd be surprised if he wins this fight. Linares has skills and can really punch. I guess the fact that Linares' chin is pretty glass always means you can't rule out him getting knocked out, despite Crolla not being overly powerful.

certainly doesn't look like there is much wrong with him here at Hosea Burtons fight from earlier on tonight

Low blow after low blow here or are they?

No, they were on the belt line and Crolla's shorts were high, it was bullshit referring from Tezza and Crolla was an idiot for incessantly complaining. Crolla was getting continually hurt to the body and the ref basically took that weapon away from Linares. Linares didn't throw that much to the body after that hard 'warning'.

Linares was just too good, as I said he would be, I had the fight pretty wide, the 117-111 card was fair, the 115-114 and 115-113 were cooked, no chance was it that close.
