A bit of variety would be good - though if they do the normal set for the first show and then a different one for the final show I would be quite happy :)

I hope they do 'Wheels of confusion' one of my all time favourites.

Taxi will be here in 15 mins, to take me to the station, to get the train, to take me to the Motherland, to see the mighty Sabbath!

Band were awesome! Tony and Geezer on form as ever. Ozzy sounded good too! Set list was the same as the rest of the tour though, so have to wait until Saturday to see if there are any "surprises".

Queues though everywhere! Parking was a nightmare - ended up having to drive out of 1 to park in another, queue to pay for parking, queue to get in, massive queues at some bars (though found a much quieter one), queue for merch (where they have sold out of the £25 standard version of the "EP" they were selling, can only get the signed version for a "reasonable" £75.....).

I hate arenas.... Ah well, back again on Saturday and going to go much earlier to avoid queues and try and get as close to the front as possible!

Thanks for the warning,  I will be leaving a bit earlier now you've said that.

Agree with cyrusr. Band were bloody brilliant, and Ozzy was great. Yeah, same set list as Leeds, but I didn't mind too much. I was also buzzing off my mate's Dad, who was going mental! He must have told everyone he met, how he saw them at Yarm Country Club, back in the day, and they'd lost all their kit, so they borrowed his band's PA!

I'm not a huge lover of arena gigs either, but I thought it was actually OK. We skipped the support act, so went for a couple of beers in the sports bar, in the casino at Resort World. When we got in the arena, the queue for the bar wasn't too bad, and we got to our seats just before Sabbath came on. Only issues I had was the bars shut just before half 10, and the queue for the bogs. As we got a taxi in and out, parking wasn't too much of an issue, and getting in, our taxi driver played a blinder, and just went straight to the head of the queue in, and pulled in, so all good.

Don't get much down in Devon so tempted to see Royal Blood at the Eden Project in June. (Anyone seen them live?)

Nice place for a gig, saw The Flaming Lips there a few years ago and it was awesome!

Saw them at reading when they were on the main stage. Wasn't that impressed with them, came across as a couple of idiots with their egos massively inflated. However, festivals aren't always the best to judge live. I would probably say the flaming lips would be better (though I've not seen them live!).

You definitely didn't miss much with Rival Sons - average rock band at best. You were better off going to the other bar!

Sounds like your taxi driver was ace :thumb:

to be fair though with the parking, didn't end up paying as I wanted to pay by card at the end and the security couldn't be arsed to deal with it so just left me through!

Yeah, I knew it was them so gave them a miss. Saw them play one and a half songs at the Leeds gig, and thought they were dreadful.

**EDIT** To be fair I haven't seen them live, but I LOVE their albums.

I saw them at the MK bowl about 18 months ago and they were pretty good.
