Rovers13
Willy caballero may have cost atleti the UCL though. And poor medical decision making.
stewiek2
Guillem Balague said on SSN on Friday morning that Luis Enrique is going to Barca and their recruitment plan is based on his requests.
AVFCforever1991
He's got Celta playing quite good this season. Be a good fit imo, think he'll automatically get more respect in the dressing room than Tata did.
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
In a shocking twist, Barca appoint Luis Enrique as manager.
VillaChris
Loved him as a player, not sure he's ready for this type of job though as he didn't do great at Roma did he?
Rovers13
Barca is sort of a different job than any other though. How you do at roma doesn't have a huge effect.
P3te
Yeah barca is a strange one where you can go in with little experience but the right philosophy and do fine. They're a pepper club where changing the manager doesn't mean sweeping changes to playing style like you see in England. Build a club philosophy first, then bring in managers to fit that
The_Rev
It's a bit like the old Liverpool boot room. That system was incredibly successful for 20+ years at Anfield and I think Barcelona are definitely influenced by it.
Zatman
he wants Deulefeu back from Everton and apparently he is shipping out Alexis, Mascherano, Alves and Fabregas
djamfisher
The player i'd hip out is Neymar, I really don't think he's good enough for them. I know this won't happen due to the amount of money it cost them; He's not a team player, and isn't strong enough.
villa4europe
i think alves has one year left on his contract and wants something like £250k a week to renew, they have montoya as back up who always looks decent to me rafinha will no doubt get some game time next season, and probably dongou as well as sergi roberto, tello has already made noises about not playing enough, then you also have grimaldo, samper, bagnack and denis suarez who will all get a chance in the next 2 years but cuenca isnt good enough and will leave, so will bojan, affelay, kerrison, then if you add fabregas, mascherano and alexis, thats a crazy amount of turnover not sure if barca can afford to do the club in transition but fans dont mind because we have a hero in charge and he's playing local lads
Mr_Dogg
Alexis sanchez was in great form earlier this season, he's just not used properly most of the time. Mascherano has been an unsung hero and Fabregas is just world class. Must be planning a HUGE overhaul and needs funds.
villa4europe
yeah unfortunately for barca for most of the season sanchez and pedro were their 2 best players...
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
They'd be mad to let Sanchez go. Although I wouldn't mind seeing him in the PL.

useless
It may not be the Nou Camp after all but an historical looking place all the same.
The_Rev
Barcelona's previous stadium was called the Camp de Les Corts. The Camp Nou literally translates as new field which was a reference to the fact that their first ground was not the new one. You can't have an old Nou Camp.
