andym Posted August 23, 2023 Share Posted August 23, 2023 I wonder how much is Emery spelling it out clearly to the players early on, i am taking this competition seriously, so you had better as well. Too often we have seen 2nd strings in early rounds of cups, and the players don't seem too bothered. It's almost a mentality thing for the whole squad, rather than him thinking he must go this strong ability wise. More chance of rotations in the group stages (should we not mess this up!)
