Interested to see our approach in the future if this is true - his strength at Sevilla seems to have been "find good players and turn a big profit, reinvest. Repeat." There's usually a CL spot up for grabs in Spain, so that policy works well when they realistically won't ever compete with Real and Barca (and to a lesser extent Atletico). If we're serious about competing at the tip, we cant regularly sell our best players

We can if we then find better players to replace them....

¡bienvenido de nuevo!

When you say he wants more power but isn't getting it - how is that seen by Sevilla fans? Are they happy he isn't getting it based off some bad decisions in the last window? - or has he done well overall and you wish Monchi would get the power he desires from the board?

What kind of decisions has he made at Sevilla that you and other fans didn't like or understand?

gracias por volver y darnos sus conocimientos y opiniones!

We want that he stays cause we don't trust the decisions of the board in transfer stuff.

Monchi is not only a SD as you use to know. He feel our passion like a ultra/hooligan, it is what makes him different to any other SD.

It is cause we forget fails like Dolberg, Januzaj, Nianzou or the Ocampos' loan in summer.

He is gonna makes a lot of mistakes, cause ii is what made here a few times, but one he got it, he go it, like Alves or Rakitic or recently Diego Carlos and Koundé.

I keep seeing things about a release clause for him? But some of the reports suggest it’s Monchi himself that needs to pay it? That doesn’t seem right unless the translation is off.

In Spain is like that, but the money comes from the clubs, but you have to pay your own freedom.

5€m.

So you're  saying if he comes there's  a chance he'll  bring in Januzaj? Finally! sign him up!

Despite winning the europa they actually got last summer badly wrong, obviously lost Diego and Jules Kounde at the back and barely replaced them so in the end had to move likes of Gudelj (think he'd be a good pick up if we're looking for versatile player who can fill in at CB and DM) into central defence regularly which meant their defence been vulnerable in La Liga all season and they were bottom half up to early May.

Loic Bade was a solid pick up for them on loan. Made no impact whatsoever at Forest but did well in their europa run. Not sure if Sevila are signing him permanently but that may be one to target perhaps.

Was very similar to Leicester messing around with Fofana and not getting proper replacements in.. Sevilla strung a few wins together when it mattered but they were in serious danger of getting relegated going into April.

That said he's signed some amazing players for them in last 20 years especially from South America. Dani Alves probably ranks as one of his greatest finds so I imagine with the Vitoria link up that's a market we want to explore and make more under 20 signings in next 5 years so can see logic to him being linked. However he left them once before for Roma and quickly returned so we need to be confident the next DOF can stick around as long as Lange has.

Lange must be leaving or heavily changing role, moving away from the first team.

We have loads of people working in recruitment now...with perhaps Monchi coming in above all of them.

Hopefully we'll see some smarter signings.

I don't think so, we signed for a few season, he is gonna be so occupied mowing this year.

We don't sign any brillant south american since then.

A bunch from Uruguay and the Argentinian that did good here were playing in Europe yet.

This is something we ask him a lot.

A come back to those years were he find a young Brazilian and he explodes in a star.

The only really good market in the last four seasons was the first one when he came from Rome, 19/20, the rest of the season were poor.

But, as I said, for us he is more than a SP, but I don't know if this is gonna be enough for you.

Sure i read somewhere that he'll be moving to a different role in V Sports but not sure.
