  1. Nope, there are a lot of cultures and POV around the world. The woke movement is only a thing in USA and, as I can see, UK. There are a tons of traditions around the world where people paint their faces, black, yellow, brown or whatever, and any of these people do it cause a racist tradition, It just a tradition and It is completely separate from any mean thing. Here, in Seville, we have a traditional holy week, where we make a thing called "pasos", we show on the streets our saints, like wooden sculptures of this saints, and the members of this procession who walk along this images are dressed like this: So, any f year, we have to read or hear the woke/uncultured people, maninly, from USA, saying that this is a empowerment of KKK and we should change this kind of dress for another one and most "cofradías" are from 200/300 years ago when KKK was not a thing. The first "three Reyes Magos" are from the end of century XIX and, now, cause a few wokes say that is racism It have to stop. Yeap. I am starting to think that the first racist are the woke followers cause they see racism in places where I can even imagine.
  2. I am reading about the black face in our Cabalgata of three kings and I am lol. It is incredible how differents two cultures and morals can be from one country to another. Be elected here as Baltazar is a great honour and nobody, I mean, nobody for a sec could thing about this is as a racist thing. Monchi is a lot of things but not a racist. I am in shock
  3. The amount is not the problem, but maybe the club (your board) doesn't want to make the deal like that or maybe Monchi thought that the board went to let him go for free and he doesn't feel OK signing with other club because the clause.
  4. Rumours says here that you only want sign Monchi for free. If It's is true I don't see the board letting him go.
  5. We don't sign any brillant south american since then. A bunch from Uruguay and the Argentinian that did good here were playing in Europe yet. This is something we ask him a lot. A come back to those years were he find a young Brazilian and he explodes in a star. The only really good market in the last four seasons was the first one when he came from Rome, 19/20, the rest of the season were poor. But, as I said, for us he is more than a SP, but I don't know if this is gonna be enough for you.
  6. I don't think so, we signed for a few season, he is gonna be so occupied mowing this year.
  7. In Spain is like that, but the money comes from the clubs, but you have to pay your own freedom. 5€m.
  8. We want that he stays cause we don't trust the decisions of the board in transfer stuff. Monchi is not only a SD as you use to know. He feel our passion like a ultra/hooligan, it is what makes him different to any other SD. It is cause we forget fails like Dolberg, Januzaj, Nianzou or the Ocampos' loan in summer. He is gonna makes a lot of mistakes, cause ii is what made here a few times, but one he got it, he go it, like Alves or Rakitic or recently Diego Carlos and Koundé.
  9. I came back after DC dealing. There are rumors about Monchi going there. He has been always a roller coster of emotions after emotional seasons. It seems like He want power about the transfer decisions and the board is not giving to him that. If he finilly go there you need to know a few thing. You have to be patience. He is not a wizard, in fact, this summer window was horrible and the season was saved thanks to a third coach, players from 2020 window and the winter window. Probably he is gonna take decisions that you not gonna like or understand. Our claim is "vender Para crecer", you say "sell to growth or go further". In Rome he sold Alisson or Salah. He changed Sevilla, but not only cause he is a great sporting director but he knows our idiosyncrasy and he knows how breathe the team and the city. I don't know if he gonna get that there, cause this is a sentimental factor and it is not easy to get that from overnight. It is true that Emery and Monchi were a great team here but the first season Emery was almost out in the middle of the season cause we were shit the first leg. Lots of question out there, He is the best SD for us, cause here is not only that, but I am not sure what he is gonna do there and if you gonna get patience to see the results. We'll see.
  10. It is very probably. PL is the only place where I think could pay this amount for a CB right now. I don´t see Barca, Madrid, Juve, Inter or Bayern willing to sign him.
  11. He is comfortable with the ball at his feet and has a good long shot but it is also true that our style of play is to get the ball played from behind, I don't know how that would fit in your team. It is disappointing but we are used to it. Our philosophy is to get all the sports performance from the player and then sell it for off-market offers. We knew that it was very likely that both would leave, Kounde was certain to leave him and DC too after Newcastle's offer last winter. We paid about 40 million for both and we are going to get a capital gain of about 120 in three years, now is when Monchi's magic comes. I heard a local radio saying that the negotiation exist but It is not that close between clubs. DC just sign in.
  12. hello lads, I am a Sevillista who likes to read other soccer forums, especially when they have to do with topics related to my team. Some answers to questions about DC: -He has not gone to Brazil because, for some strange reason, our players are not in the showcase for the national coaches. Kounde himself has taken a long time to go to France, despite having a great season in 2019. He himself has made many statements indicating that he is not happy with the Brazilian coach. -There is always talk of DC's mistakes but they are rare, our defense is almost perfect and any mistake is noteworthy, but he is the one who puts out all the fires in defense. -For me he is the best behind, counting Kounde, I think that Kounde would not have performed as he has without having someone like him nearby. -I don't think we will sell it below €50M, expensive? Perhaps the age-price ratio is not the best, but it guarantees immediate performance. -His superiority against the strikers in La Liga has been brutal, like adults against children.
  13. I just sign up to answer a few question I read about Diego Carlos. If you want to read a description of the situation I am here.
