Things really not going the way of Sevilla. Getting destroyed by Atletico Madrid despite being gifted a strange penalty (that they missed) and now they got a red card as well.

The MON effect is kicking in at Newcastle. Only so far can get with players like Burn and Longstaff etc before the true level recedes

Have been struggling since the World Cup to break teams down and are desperate for a creative spark

Good season for them so far

Could understand this comment after not beating a mid to lower table team…

…but they lost 2-0 away at Man City.

Well has been going on for a few weeks in fairness. City game is irrelevant if honest

Been without their star player - the games he’s been back for have been both Manchester clubs.

If they not picking up points against Wolves and Forest in their next games then sure.

The thing is, and there should be a degree of sympathy for Newcastle here because we're all in the same boat, their key player gets injured or suspended and in comes a replacement who wouldn't get in our team, the equivalent level of said key player is a £50m sub for Liverpool and spurs, MON was stubborn whereas I think Howe genuinely doesn't have a good squad

What is funny about the drop off and throwing MON is there is the media buzz that Newcastle are doing something new, maybe one day they do but so far they're doing what we did, what West ham did, Leicester obviously did something better

Newcastle this season are a myth in the context of 10+ years of PL history and even if you ignore the sports washing angle you're still left with the bullshit sky / PL how great is our product angle

It used to be that soft free kicks were given everywhere and a penalty needs to be a high bar

Now we have a weird situation where it’s completely reversed

I hate PGMOL
