Fair play lad!

Count Unai blows a Sherwood facial or Gerrard stare down out the water!

We thought, he might be mercenary ( speculation).....now we know he's not( if reported correctly)

Buy Ferran Torres, RB, backup GK and then sell some deadwood and it will be a 10/10 window

Might be wrong but don’t think there will be a right back. Reckon it’s going to be three centre halves with one as a tucked in right back not bombing forward. If Moreno is injured, play one centre half as a tucked in left back and let cash loose on the right….so Moreno and cash effectively fighting for one place…

In fairness, I don't care what anyone says, if he genuinely has chosen to join us, over potential life changing generational wealth in double time, it's admirable.

Yes I know he'll be " rich " either way, but there are levels.

He does well here, the Megabucks will come anyway, one way or another.

Konsa or Carlos as defensive RB, with Matty as the more agile " attacking " option perhaps?

He'd already said yes to us... over a week ago according to that very same spam merchant.

The sticking point has been, ever since, the fee being agreed with Leverkusen.

It was pretty clear this was the scenario the whole time. But something that cut and dry doesn't generate clicks so of course there had to be some twists and turns.

Nakamba
Olsen
Chambers
Hause
Digne
Traore
Dendoncker
Sanson
Wesley
Davis

Nakamba sold, nine more to go, a few others such as Coutinho and Bailey have also been the subject of speculation regarding their futures.

When you look at all of those, that's potentially a quite decent return ofoney and wages off the books.

Don't see all of those being shifted in this window though

We’re signing players about to enter their peak years, rather than before they peak or after they peak. A game changer.

This is the Liverpool way of the past

I agree.....I take my hat off to any player, who chooses to mix it with the best teams and players.....shows he backs himself.

I understand the motives for older players to take life changing money.....but there has to be ambition, in 24 year olds, and the Prem is the best place to improve your standing in the game.

I put a huge stance on Character and attitude....and this boy, shows he wants to have a go......bully for him. We are not there yet, but any player who fancies his chances in helping us get there.....is the one for me.

Tielemans has been playing first team football since the age of 16.

He is 26 going on 30 in football terms.

Still not a bad age though.

I think we're only half way done.

I agree - a back up keeper, back up or young full back,  and then maybe another attacking midfielder/no 10 (though think the last one would only be right player as we have some decent options there

Looking at Diaby's highlights, I'm feeling like EVERYONE on our right side is going to have to be ready to sprint faster to keep up. 🤣 He seems like he's at his best at Leverkusen when he has team members who can play off of him, too. I could see Moreno working well with him and Jacob were he on that side, but will Mattie Cash?

Frankly I’m disappointed that “blows a Sherwood facial” hasn’t stirred up the obvious. This forum in getting slack.

I think we will get an upgrade on Cash, he’ll be moved on in Jan or next summer.

I like Mattie, but Jeremie Frimpong is one of the quickest right backs in the world -- basically as fast as Diaby. Mattie isn't even close to that. Diaby opens up spaces when he's got someone tethered to him in space, too. They wreak havoc on defenses then. Would love to see this against Liverpool. But look at me, we just signed the biggest signing in Villa history, and I'm already fretting about what we don't have lol. Time to enjoy this. Where's my gratitude!?

We will sign a right-back of some description, it's okay saying that Konsa can play there, but if Cashy gets injured then we will be left with no specialist right-backs in the squad, what if that happens and Konsa doesn't even take to playing right-back at Premier League level, besides I'm not sure where this idea has come from that Konsa is going to play at right-back anyway, I can see the reasoning, but I don't think there's been anything to suggest it's what Emery is actually going to do, we going for gold so I doubt we're going to gamble on playing players in random positons that they haven't played in at the top level before.
