Our two best players are well and truly at the end of their careers and are both way off their peak form and abilities. Outside of Bale and Ramsey it’s relatively average at best. It cannot be overstated how much of our success over the past decade (in relative terms) has been down to Bale, if he’s not firing, if he’s not match fit then it’s a struggle for us. Hopefully we can nick a goal and get a bit tighter at the back, irrespective of the result today it’s still a source of huge pride to even see us here.
