Still, a couple more days and then we’ll see where we stand. This year it may well be even harder with the World Cup interruption. With that in mind, on human level, some players have been away from home for 6 weeks and they may not want to move away again so soon. No matter how keen we are we may have to wait until the summer for some of our targets. That may make home based players more gettable. It has had an interesting recent history and if it did have a future villa player on it, then there's any number of Spanish clubs that they could have come from. What we thinking? If we don’t make a signing, then, we won’t make a signing. It doesn’t clearer than that. If signing players isn’t something Emery wants to do right now, then there must be a good reason for it. Gotta trust the man, he’s won stuff. Big stuff. Transfer windows aren’t about signing players, it’s a time for reflection.
