It’s said Aston Villa are ‘already negotiating’ with Atletico Madrid chief Miguel Angel Gil Marin for the transfer.

João Félix has been heavily linked with an exit from the Colchoneros in the January transfer window due to his bad relationship with manager Diego Simeone, and according to Marca, Jorge Mendes wants the ‘jewel’ to join a Premier League side, which Villa seen as favourable.

The report leaves it to be seen how the negotiations will carry on in the next few days, and if João Félix would accept joining a club who are not protagonists in the European scenario, even though he could change their tier.

Marca points out that European sides such as Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain are all interested in the Portuguese star, but ‘some sources point out’ it’s really Aston Villa who’ll end up signing him.

Sound a done deal. Hopefully we have someone in crowd of the Portuguese Vs Switzerland game to ask Felix for an autograph ( but secretly getting him to sign the contact)

He was being linked to the biggest teams in the world. He went to WOLVES instead.

They are totally totally incomparable in almost every way.

Felix is a global star, a 130m euro player playing for one of the biggest sides in Europe and he’s 23.

Not a chance in a month of Sundays.

I'm just going to say if we do sign felix that is 3 of the 6 most expensive players ever who have played for Villa. That's insane

And if the reports are true we could realistically re-sign Jack and then we'd have them playing for us simultaneously. Which is further insane.
