Some good characters in the club now. Signing players with the right personalities is to me, more important than pure ability. Liverpool closed him down and he didn't have the time and space that other teams would afford him. It's just the type of player that he is. Don't have the skill/ acceleration or confidence to beat a man or drive into penalty box to open up space for other attackers.. Hopefully will just be back up when Moreno return. He’s been great in the last few games, but against the better teams he doesn’t have legs to cover the whole of the left hand side and even though the back 4 was left exposed yesterday, he feels the most vulnerable 1-on-1. It’s not his fault, but the injury to Mings has meant Torres playing every game, and Torres and Digne together don’t have any real pace. Moreno will solve this problem hopefully. With no press and a high line he was a sitting duck yesterday, still created two really good chances. I think he’s had a good start to the season - and that’s from someone who wanted him gone in the Summer (mainly due to ridiculous wages).
