Yeah Ndidi and Tielemans cost around 50m IIRC.

That's the sort of quality we need but feels like we'll sign just one for that sort of fee who won't improve us that much.

Combined they cost less than 50 million, its why its absurd we are linked with 40 million Bissouma and 60million Phillips

Neither would get in the Leicester team. Is a lot better elsewhere

They’d both arguably get in the Leicester side.

Either way, if we could get Bissouma and Phillips for around £70m combined, it would be a huge upgrade. We could easily raise a huge portion of that with the sales of Targett, Luiz, Traore and Davis.

Time to get serious in the Summer.

Bissouma, Phillips, Luiz would be a rather good midfield tbh.

Bissouma, Phillips and anyone out of McGinn, Ramsey or Nakamaba and we'd still have the issue with neither of our midfielders being any good at the build up part if we wanted to play out from the back. Guess Sanson could but that's not where you get the most out of him. We'd lose the ball pretty quick but we'd be much better at getting it back so we could lose it again.

They would make the Leicester bench

If rumours are true, the midfield three next season could be Bissouma, McGinn, Ramsey.

Bissouma is a good player but I’m not sure about the composition of that trio. One runner, one fighter and one who is a bit of both. Is there enough ball playing skills?

Need to upgrade McGinn too IMO

Bissouma maybe not (although I personally think he is better than Ndidi) but Phillips walks into the Leicester team.

You are joking? Bissouma is an elite passer of the ball.

Define elite

Top percentiles in pass completion, in all three of the short, medium and long categories in the top 5 leagues in the world.

He's the following percentiles - 90, 79, 92, 86 - overall, short, medium, long.

Luiz is 54, 41, 52, 61 by comparison

a solitary assist in over 90 Premier League games is an elite passer

Luka Modric I would say is an elite passer and Bissouma is nowhere near that level

Completely different roles, can't compare them

You do post some absolute nonsense. Comparing a defensive midfielder with world class creative midfielder based on assists. N'Golo Kante is useless, he had 2 assists last season.

When you post nonsense so often, people will just end up ignoring you. Remember that

Am I misunderstanding this...you're saying Douglas Luiz has 54% overall pass completion? If so, that just can't be correct.

Well Bissouma is not a defensive midfielder he is a central midfielder and regardless if he as an elite passer he should be on a similar level to a world class midfielder. I wasnt even basing his assists on Modric passing

Nobody has said Kante is an elite passer or compared them. So who is posting the nonsense?

No, a measure of a players passing skills are not based on their passing ability. It's based solely on assists. Thus a player with higher assists is the better passer. So any player who is in the final 1/3rd of the pitch more often, thus getting more assists, is better than any defensive player.  🤣

The amount of nonsense posted on this forum. It's astonishing.

The 54 is the percentile he’s in for completed passes with 83.8%. Compared to the midfielders in top 5 leagues
