With Ollie the return is 2 or perhaps 3 goals. True. But also, people are unnecessarily harsh on him. There was a chance he missed in the second half where Emi put him through with a lofted ball. It was hardly a sitter. He had to control it on the chest and then volley it first time on his weaker foot with the defender bracing for the tackle. Yet if you were to read VT you'd think it was a tap-in that he missed. He did really well to even get into the position to be able to take the shot in the first place. Just think that with the system we are playing UE, Ollie is going to have lots of opportunities solo and he either needs to find a better way to work with Bailey or finish better if we have any chance of getting near the 9-12 spots. He has limited ability 1 on 1 and little to no confidence to do so. His workrate is class but I fear he isn't up to the level we need - so many attacks end up with him running down and alley and tripping over himself or getting a weak shot off into a defender. If we're going to progress we need a significantly better finisher. Otherwise, we have to work much harder than other teams to score the same amount of goals and that's just silly. Watkins has git worse and scored less goals as each season goes on. If a offer close to what we paid for comes in for ollie i would get rid. A player holding us back and wont take us to next level.
