Paulo Filho lost the other day, anyone who remembers him in PRIDE will probably be sad to hear. I don't think he's overcome his problems at all.

Carwin is out of his fight with Big Country, and DW reckons he's going to make a major announcement tomorrow. Judging by his last few major announcements it'll be about a new brand of shaving cream he's using on his head.

This is frigging excellent! WEC cards are exiting and will add lots to the UFC roster. Aldo and Henderson being the stand-outs, while Faber will sell a PPV on his own.

And the comment on keeping the WEC staff has a fantastic bonus, and here she is :-)

Well after the abortion of a card that was 122 in germany (Siver apart), 123 is here. Look at that frigging undercard, christ, almost tops the last UK shows main card. This event has the makings of a real barnburner. Sotiropoulos-Lauzon will be a classic.

Preliminary card

* Lightweight bout: Tyson Griffin vs. Nik Lentz

* Lightweight bout: Paul Kelly vs. T.J. O'Brien

* Lightweight bout: Edson Barboza vs. Mike Lullo

* Welterweight bout: Karo Parisyan vs. Dennis Hallman

Spike TV card

* Middleweight bout: Aaron Simpson vs. Mark Muñoz

* Welterweight bout: Matt Brown vs. Brian Foster

Main card

* Lightweight bout: George Sotiropoulos vs. Joe Lauzon

* Light Heavyweight bout: Phil Davis vs. Tim Boetsch

* Middleweight bout: Gerald Harris vs. Maiquel Falcão

* Welterweight bout: Matt Hughes vs. B.J. Penn

* Light Heavyweight bout: Quinton Jackson vs. Lyoto Machida

Good card tonight/this morning, looking forward to seeing Phil Davis on the main card.

And here's the card for 125, first including the WEC roster

Main card

* Lightweight Championship bout: Frankie Edgar © vs. Gray Maynard

* Featherweight Championship bout: Jose Aldo © vs. Josh Grispi

* Lightweight bout: Clay Guida vs. Takanori Gomi

* Welterweight bout: Nate Diaz vs. Dong Hyun Kim

* Middleweight bout: Chris Leben vs. Brian Stann

Preliminary card

* Light Heavyweight bout: Brandon Vera vs. Thiago Silva

* Lightweight bout: Marcus Davis vs. Jeremy Stephens

* Featherweight bout: Mike Brown vs. Diego Nunes

* Welterweight bout: Daniel Roberts vs. Greg Soto

* Lightweight bout: Jacob Volkmann vs. Antonio McKee

Stacked! I think MTB and Vera/Silva should be on the main card, but if this is the kind of thing we can expect (at least on paper anyway) 122 will have been the last non-event ever

And Davis new style Kimura. Named "Mr Wonderful Kimura" by Rogan

Great exiting card. Only one fight wasn't shown and it was Griffin being robbed by the judges. Lentz is getting annoying with his booooring style and luck.

As predicted, the Sotiropolus - lauzon fight got fight of the night. And BJ knockout of the night was ironic as it was Hughes who got Dana to up the bonus to 80 grand from the usual 70. Ti hi

Strikforce had a KO-fest this weekend. Henderson, Lawlor and Daley did damage galore.

And the ultimate finale had a good knee on display. Pablo Garza

SPOILER********************

And Brookins win the TUF title. All good, he was a stand-out.

Warning, this IS a ghey comment, but...

Isnt that a bit brutal? If you carried on like the fella in the first gif, you'd kill a man within a minute or 2.

It is, late stoppage in my book. Fight until the ref breaks it up is the mantra and rule but in some cases the fighters should know when enough is enough. The Garza gif is worse I think because he had time to see his opponent was out of it, Henderson was in mid flurry.
