LakotaDakota
One day people will learn that taunting people & calling for the other person to hit you is a bad idea. Awful, Awful fight until this though. Barely a shot thrown in the first round. If she hadn't been taunting her i think she probably would have got away without the punch in the face when she was on her ass Edited June 17, 2017 by LakotaDakota
Tegis Posted June 17, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted June 17, 2017 In Dan Hardys quote form an earlier fight: She now has a nose that can smell around corners. Pretty boring main card, hopefully the prelims was better, I've yet to see it
LakotaDakota
Prelims were far better than the main card. Comacho - Jingliang probably FOTN but Scoggins - Sasaki also entertaining enough and there were a couple of others that were good while they lasted

BOF Posted June 19, 2017 Moderator Share Posted June 19, 2017 Tim Hague dies after boxing knockout Quote Tim Hague: Former UFC fighter dies aged 34 after knockout in boxing bout Tim Hague had fought in four boxing bouts since moving from UFC Former UFC fighter Tim Hague has died aged 34 after being knocked out in a boxing bout in Canada on Friday. The Canadian, who fought in UFC from 2009 to 2011, was knocked down five times in the first two rounds against Adam Braidwood before it was stopped. He walked out of the ring but was then taken to hospital and fell into a coma. "It is with incredible sadness, sorrow and heartbreak to report that Tim has passed away," his family said in a statement on Sunday. "He was surrounded by family, listening to his favourite songs," they added. "We will miss him so greatly. We ask for privacy during this difficult time." Hague beat Pat Barry on his UFC debut but went on to lose his other four fights. He held a similar record after moving to boxing, starting with victory over Patrick Graham, then losing the following three bouts, including two knockouts against fellow Canadians Mladen Miljas and Braidwood. BOF Posted June 29, 2017 Moderator Share Posted June 29, 2017 Clinkety lickings Nurmagobblelobble. Quote Dana White reveals who Conor McGregor wants to fight after Floyd Mayweather You don't need us to tell you but we'll do it anyway, Conor McGregor is fighting Floyd Mayweather on 26 August. It will be the biggest fight of all time, or close to it anyway and opinions aside will be one hell of a spectacle knowing that both McGregor and Mayweather will be facing off. After that, though, normality must resume and McGregor will have to return to the UFC to defend his lightweight title. The number one contender seemed likely to be Tony Ferguson after Khabib Nurmagomedov dropped out of an interim title fight with the American back in March. That doesn't look likely anymore, according to MMAJunkie, the fight will be booked again but McGregor is looking to fight Nurmagomedov in Russia, the homeland of the 28-year-old. UFC President Dana White was speaking to the website and revealed McGregor's plans. You know what Conor told me? He said, ‘I want Khabib in Russia,' “Isn’t he (expletive) awesome? He’s like, ‘I want Khabib, in Russia.’ He’s awesome. Conor McGregor is a (expletive) unicorn. There’s nothing like him. He’s working on boxing Floyd Mayweather and then he’s talking about fighting Khabib in Russia right after.” The two fighters have some history between them with a video released showing them clashing backstage before UFC 205. The Russian also posted to Twitter showing that he direct messaged the Irishman back in November looking for a title fight.

If he does go back to UFC which im not even sure he will, this doesnt seem the one to have. He would have alot to lose but not alot to gain from it (especially now money for these fights wont be a big deal) If he goes back to UFC its to get the 3rd (170) belt. (IMO) Hes got a big Ego but has never made the wrong decision for his future, losing another fight at 170 wouldnt really cause much harm to his legacy, losing to Nurma would. Anderson Silva toyed with Irvin and Fedor Emelianenko took out a two time UFC heavyweight in 10 seconds. Superb fighters the both of them. Fedor vs Barnett next? Arlovski looked good as well. CB Dollaway also took out Jesse Taylor which was a bit of a surprise to me. Good weekend all in all. Fedor is immense! Just wanted to quote this old one, Both are on the card tonight. What a journey for Taylor after his drunken idiocy 10 years ago. TUF redemption indeed.

villakram
wow ufc213 is a complete disaster... so glad I didn't go. Dana will be out on his ear if he doesn't deliver a couple of quality ppv by the year end. If the weight cut story with Nunes is true, she's done too, pity as it would have been a good fight.
