I think that depends on how the game is going - if we're ahead we can bring on a centre half for Adomah and push Jedinak into midfield, if we're behind, Grealish could come on for Amavi or Adomah - and then we've got some good like for like options in Lansbury and Hogan. The bench has lots of flexibility providing they're all fit.

I'm still not overly keen on having Hutton and Amavi on the wings unless it's an emergency.

I don't like Hutton on the wing either.

Alano Huttoninho on the other hand...

Suppose it's best to throw them here in case of emergencies next season.

I'm assuming

               Johnstone

Bree.     Chester.    Jedi.    Taylor.

Hutton. Gardner. Hourihane. Amavi

            Adomah

                             Kodjia

Not sure but that could be it?

Edit: I don't have a problem with four 'fullbacks' as two of them are playing as a left and right mid rather than in defence. It's not like we're playing 6 at the back, the two in mid will have clear roles presumably.

That's how we won last week.

It's a bold move Cotton.

Exactly that. Well maybe Bree and Hutton switch but yes, its what we switched to against Wednesday.

A team that has spent the money we have that has four full backs and Gary Gardner in the starting 11 is a perfect symbol of money pissed up the wall.

Sometimes the best soldiers don't always make the best platoon.

Last week it was Hutton in midfield with Bree behind.

I couldn't watch :( Would have thought we'd prefer the experience in defence but I suppose that also makes Alan more versatile.

4.7k Villans there .

The 5 Wigan fans who do go are pretty quiet .

This is a home game.

remember that word removed who solely exists to throw shade at Villa on 'The Mag' trying to suggest we were poorly supported :crylaugh:

Well we did "piss" that money on two of those full backs... plus on a lot of injured players. It would be terrible management to play a player based on cost rather than form or ability.
