Norwich bossed the 2nd half but we got through it being able to do that is a very good quality but we have to start improving with the ball. Bruce puzzles me. He wants to play 2 strikers but the instead of putting a flair player on he puts on Amavi who did well but we had 2 natural left wingers on the bench. Hourihane was getting better and better in CM then he moves him wide and he has a mare. Bree doesn't put a foot wrong but gets dropped for Hutton who only got back in the side at right mid because Gardner got injured. If we play like we have been next season I won't care as long as we win the league but Bryce needs to get us playing better or he won't last long after that. He could be with us 3 - 5 years and we will still be playing the same turgid stuff as seen at any club he's ever managed. If he gets us up then he's succeeded in what we brought him in for and i'll applaud him for that. But if the Dr is serious in his plans to make us a top club in the prem and a force he will need to be replaced by someone more tactically astute because grinding out results in the prem won't be good enough. If we had of passed them to death and had more corners etc, etc. but still won 2-0 would you have been happier? I guess you would, but to what end. If my memory serves me correct ,I don't recall Arsene Wenger having to take his time for Arsenal to play attractive football ,and that was with a side who had previously played very direct . The thing that is in correlation with all the clubs he has managed is circumstances that got him the jobs in the first place.....He has always come in to rescue.....Hardly a platform to perform silky skills. If he is with us long enough, who is to say the eye catching football you crave cannot be achieved? However, even in our finest hour.......we never achieved that.
