Popular Post VILLAMARV
Quote BRISTOL City supporters are to stage their own moving tribute to an Aston Villa fan who recently passed away when the two sides meet in the Championship next week. Life-long Villa fan Will Falck, who followed the team home and away, tragically lost his battle with cancer, aged 23. His biggest concern prior to his passing was that his brother had bought him a ticket to watch Villa play Bristol City at Ashton Gate on August 27 and he might not be able to make the game. After hearing news of Will's passing on social media, City fans have taken up his cause and are planning to stage a minute's applause in his memory inside Ashton Gate on Saturday week. Former Villa and Celtic star Stiliyan Petrov, who won his own battle with leukemia in 2013, visited Will in hospital shortly before he passed away. Now in a remarkable show of football unity City and Villa fans plan to come together to ensure Will is at next week's big Championship match in spirit. A minute's applause is planned for the 23rd minute. From the Bristol Post

Gary Thomas
What can you say, wonderful gesture which I am sure his family will appreciate at this terrible time. Well played Bristol City, well played - you will always have a little place in my heart for this! Edited August 18, 2016 by Gary Thomas

Dean Posted August 27, 2016 Visiting Supporter Share Posted August 27, 2016 Just wanted to post in here and say hope that the city fans made as much noise as possible on the 23rd minute, everywhere I looked seemed to be clapping and I'm glad the whole ground got involved even while losing. Hope his family were there or at least see the video as it seems the people holding up the sign were videoing! any chance of the link of the video and I'll try and share it with the city fans forum aswell.
