Sure they are far from where they usually are and are going through a generation change, but the biggest issue seem to be that they are missing their classic dutch nr 9 central striker. agree, i think they have a decent enough crop coming through and still enough players around 25-28 at the back - tete, reidewald (despite looking shit for palace) de ligt, hoedt, ake, van dijk, de vrij, veltman, fosu-mensah, karsdorp, ter avest, st juste, diks middle - Klaassen, vilhena, wijnaldum, strrotman, ramselaar, hendrix, nouri, van de beek like you say its then upfront they're struggling with only really kluivert, bergwijn and zivkovic on paper they're a lot better than some of the teams around them

Bendtner?! Dolberg is the future and already better. As Sweden are bound to face Denmark in the Play off I really hope they persevere with Bendtner, he is hopeless. Pretty sure he managed to sky one out of the stadium last night.

A team to avoid in the play offs. Can see them giving Italy or Portugal difficulty if they draw them.

VillaChris
Surprised Sweden aren't up there given you've been on really good form for over a year now but then the Fifa rankings are very odd indeed.
Zatman
hopefully for us unseeded teams that Portugal can do the business tomorrow
sne
So Italy, Denmark, Croatia and whoever finished 2nd of Switzerland or Portugal will be seeded. Ireland, Greece, Northern Ireland and Sweden/France/Holland will be unseeded. Edit: Should the impossible happen and Sweden passes France in the group they might be seeded and Denmark become unseeded? Not sure about that one. sne
Apparently the Holland Sweden game is also a decider of who gets to play in the Group A of the upcoming UEFA Nations League that will be part of the rather confusing and overly complicated EURO 2020 qualification. Holland win and it's them, Sweden win it's them, and if it's a draw it's Austria who nicks the last spot. That tournament will be a total mess, and the qualification system is UEFA at it's worst.
