They are trying to build up their prestige again after the Nike thing and losing all of their big contracts over time. In the Prem I think it's just Everton and West Ham they manufacture kits for so I could definitely see this happening. I think the shirts need a crest change though. I wouldn't mind a simple gold lion embroidered on ala the Spurs cockerel.
