If it doesn't work out they can always go into Administration, wipe out their debts and come back stronger than ever. It worked out pretty well for them (and Southampton) last time.

Perfect opportunity to offload some of deadwork as 'experienced premier league players'

Surely that's whst they need...

"Little used right back, who has continential experience! Must buy for any promoted club! Now at new, reduced price! Get while available, limited stock!"

According to the Telegraph their plan is the same as Lambert and Lerner had ( buy young cheap hungry youngsters )

so just like us 3 years a go and southampton this summer when they do actually start to look half decent they'll be picked apart by the big boys and end up doing **** all...

Yeah we've got shit loads of money to spend...so let's tell everyone...so if we want one of your players don't hesitate to add a few million.

I remember when small heath said somthing along the lines of "we've got £40m to spend in the transfer window"... then pretty much spent nothing as everyone jacked their prices right up. (or more likely it was a lie)

Why on earth would you give an exact sum of cash out to the footballing world?

Hey everyone, we've got cash. Come and get it!!

Should have just spent it with no warning. Noone knows when the owner will stop, so no idea how much cash left in the pot. Simples.

If he thinks £180m over three years will get him into the top five from where he is now, he's even more yampy than this crackpot plan makes him sound.

Thats 60 million a year, that wont get him to the top.
