Are they also parked away from prying eyes?

It's not where they park, it's how they park.

After it became apparent that Randy Lerner's aircraft was being observed it started parking at an angle where the door was not visible from landside. Passengers would be driven to/from the aircraft with no fear of close scrutiny.

The Rich aircraft was parked in a similar fashion, as some other completely unrelated aircraft are from time to time.

Signature, the handling agent, are well versed in protecting their important clients, and there was/is a notice in their office forbidding any employee to speak about Randy Lerner's aircraft to any enquirer.

Out of interest, where/which bit..do private charter planes park at Birmingham International?

As i live in Marston Green Village just down the path to the right side of Airport, 8/10min walk and onto Elmdon Lane.

But you can see from the path most of the airport.

Which bit is it situated in, can you see it from the path to the right (By where Elmdon Trading Estate bridge is)

Trees, is it possible that these private jets are shared around and "loaned" between wealthy folk?   I just don't see how Robert Rich would be interested in buying Villa but I do wonder if Randy might have asked him to loan a jet in order to protect certain identities and cover tracks?

For the, the fact M and S are still here in BHX is a massive positive for whom ever they are looking at

Everything is possible, but there are plenty of private charter companies to hire from, without 'borrowing'

When Les Wexner comes to town for the shooting season, he often invites his mates, but they all come in their own aircraft. It appears that no one gives any one a lift.

And, as I have stated before, they are not going to not use their aircraft because of a few potential geeks on the internet.

Do Signature work for most clients, or is there a nice few options involved Trees?

At BHX it is pretty much only Signature. Their local rival recently went bust.

At busier UK airports and at most airports in the US, there are several handling agents.

All private aircraft park at the Elmdon Apron, which is the Old Terminal for us pre-1984 types.

Enough in depth geeky stuff, as we are swaying off topic. No more questions please!

With all this bad news - pretty sure the club will leak a sweetner soon - either fake or real...

There have been a number of stories lately that most Villa fans would have been disappointed with. We're for sale (no mention of a buyer), Lambert is staying for now, Albrighton (the bright spark of the last few months) is going, Bent and Hutton are coming back...

I hope you're right, a bit of nice news from the club (real or simply 'hinting') would be good.

The fact that im clinging to is that the statement Lerner issued when he stated that he will address his ownership at the end of the season. Now you would think he would say that so not to destabilize the team. So why would he now make a statement that could destabilize the club for the whole of next season if there is no purchaser in site.

Guys just off the topic of M and S for a sec.

When their was talk 2 years back about the arab's coming in to Villa before "He who shall not be named" came in. There was a lot of talk they wanted to put money into the club.

BUT, there was also talk of the fact Villa own bits of land around Aston. Not just round VP. From what I understood the arab's where going to use VP as a HQ. Rebuild the North and fill in the corners of the stadium.

There was also talk that companies such as Microsoft, Google etc where interested in building HQ's on the plots owed by Villa. Not only would this be central to everyone in the UK being a stones throw away from the City and M5/M6. But it would be money coming back in from the leasing of the land.

As fans we want to see our club do well on the pitch. But sometimes you have to look at it from a business point of view. We could easily do what City are doing given the right backing.

What other option did he have? Strong rumours saying club is for sale and he waited till the end of the season to confirm it.

Hey that was one of the many chats I've had - One of points raised but was taken with a big pinch of salt. But from a business point of view if Villa own bits of land around aston you can see why people would want to invest.

Same as he said February time when more strong rumours were doing the rounds "not looking to sell"

And then Lambert gets the blame for spending on rubbish.
