Qwpzxjor1
Two of the juiciest ties we've had for ages, both ruined by red cards. Second legs pretty much ruined as well with 2-0 leads and away goals. I'd say otherwise, both City and Arsenal were looking more than capable of giving Barce and Bayern a tough match. turnbull
After watching Barca and Bayern tonight im not having anyone in on topic try tell me a passing possession game is overrated. Never seen two games be so controlled. Red cards may have played a part but the movement is there for all to see. You are suggesting we should play like Barcelona? I think someone should suggest it to Lambert, see what he says. Maybe attach a video of these games. We'd have to learn to pass it to each other first. coda
No disgrace really. Beaten by one of the best teams around. Probably the best team around and against 10 men for 55 minutes or so... Arsenal were brilliant until Ozil missed that penalty with Wilshire running the show but lost heart after that. If you were an Arsenal fan I recon you'd be pretty annoyed at the way Ozil played after missing the penalty. He is a bit of a sulker. He looked like he didn't want to be there from day one. tarjei
The movement there is quite something. Dizzy defernders. It came at a crucial moment though. Koscielny was making his way back after the free kick at the other end and Flamini was covering his spot. Just as they were about to swap... that pass and those movements. Yeah, it's a bit frustrating that we only got about 45 mins of contest out of each of the ties.
The_Rev
Apparently Thibaut Courtois was outstanding for Atletico again. What are Chelsea going to do about this fella? A lot of people think he is the best goalkeeper in Europe already even though he is still only 21.
Papillon
Wonder who wenger will blame k He was making a diving gesture torwards Robben before the penalty was taken, real clever from him since he probably hasn't seen the replay at that point. Szczesny then making the "rocket polisher" sign as he walks off the pitch, again, real smart as we all know how that is appreciated by UEFA. Arsenal, always really good but never best. Ten years since they won the league and they won't win anything this season either.

Electric Avenue
Once again arsenals season is unravelling. Ramsay is by far their bet player, Wilshire is all hype with no product. What is your thing against Arsenal? Was it that league cup final against Birmingham that has set you off? Facts are facts, arsenals last trophy was 2005
villa4europe
Once again arsenals season is unravelling. Ramsay is by far their bet player, Wilshire is all hype with no product. "Ramsey is all hype but no product." - people two years ago. nah, the best thing said about wilshere was 2 years ago - "Wilshere is a top player. He is an excellent player, not just Arsenal, but also for the national team. [but] he is lucky because we have many players in the second team like him but he plays because there is no pressure at his club to win titles" - pep guardiola think of the hype jack wilshere has around him, toni kroos played him off the park, and it wasnt a turned up today thing, kroos played him off the park because he's a better player, so is thiago, so is martinez, so is gotze...
